Are you talking about Takumi? When you fought him, you need to persuade and then tie him up, not kill. Only after that can you drag food and water into his inventory.

Maybe depends on the personality, but it is not 100. As long as it have rose color it seems, even if it 85.
And dance gains depend on NPC type and personality too - e.g. lewd dance can give +1, +2, 0, or -2.

let npc work on it (livestock), sometimes poop will spawn inside and when the value on it reaches 100, a pig will be spawned inside when u check it
