Amen to that. Displaying extensions is always the first thing I do on a new computer. It's annoying that Windows hides those by default.

please help, just got a bug at the start that i dont have quest, defeated the native boss for hours and then suddenly when i got home and swim and died by shark, the quest start to show, the quest is Defeated native boss but i dont have anything to defeat. please help asap

eh...in that case, try /qp Boss_Gen 0
then save and load ur save again. Beat him again.
Did u forget to grab the treasure chest behind after defeating him?
may I ask for help please re the wheat? How can I exactly get it? when I try to catch a chicken it's either I get raw meat, and if I use a faint weapon the chicken comes with me lol. Umm I already have tons of chicken enough to supply a fast food chain.
As for the bird? do I use an arrow? :S

For birds, yes, arrows usually work. Sometimes if you're careful you can also sneak up on them from behind, but arrows work more consistently.

depends on u, u can either give female native a bow and command her after holding Q then right click the target (npc doesn't need arrow to shoot). OR try killing one urself (don use branch arrow, use other arrows instead)

try finding the one in my guide then. I didn't include like /get or /npc for each commands, but i guess u guys already know how to use those

How do I locate friendlies that have wandered off? Or gotten captured? I dunno they are just no longer in my camp
You can add friendlies to favorites and they'll be displayed as a star on the map.
You can use "call" button, or "/call" console command to summon people from your friendlist to your location. Console command is more powerful.
Captured villagers will appear on the map a few minutes later as a rescue zone. Note that if you leave the rescue zone, they will not be saved, so be careful with maneuvering. Or better yet, rush in to rescue them, then kill everybody who dared to imprison your friends.

fat nope, discord even tried to add forum threads and failed miserably because they look something you'd get off trello and it is equally disorganized no matter how many channels you make for it
a regular vBulletin 4.5 easily kicks discord to a curb without breaking a sweat, seeing discord trying their best to supplant forums is like seeing a armless kid saying they will be the next NBA superstar

, if you don't hear it from there then it's not worth much attention though the new stuff they are cooking is nice, especially bows and i hope it works well with the natives since i don't need to replenish their arrows
so i favorited takafumi since i saw him on my friends list after tying him up. however, when i went to retrieve him, he disappeared (as per the story) both in game and in my friends list. he's still favorited, apparently. this isn't going to break my save, is it? im kinda invested in this playthrough

so, u saw takumi's name on the orange list after tying him up? If so....i think u spawned one with command before finishing the story but u forgot about the existence of that.
Can u like show the quest list from ur bottom right and the collection image from the bottom left's treasure chest?
if u rly fucked up, u can try resetting the quest using /qp , i never try to resetting the main story..remember to keep a backup save while at it. savedata[no.].xml, saveimage[no.].png, savemap[no.].png and saveview[no.].xml. I usually make a backup with those before i want to test something
Well, I was always using that as a non mod way to test the new item, but I see one guy say that it ruin the game for him, guess it better be patched.

if you have a save before, leave 10 or more food (any thing that can be eat) in his inventory before you left, it will be an objective on the top right counting to (or from) 10, then come back to check on him,
but you can still play the game, it just mean that for the story quest, you chose to kill him.
if you want, you can also look at guides in here, some dialog lead to some "better result".
but if it is really far back or you have no save, someone in this thread found a way to edit save to change the out come of any quest, or use the command, I dont know if it work, because it happen to me that for the giant girl ,you need to wait for "better result" and I know about 100 hours later
, I just play a new game for that.

u r right, i forgot to ask if he did put 10 food inside his inventory after tying him. But collection table does show cross on a certain slot if he died.
