Lovin the game so far, never thought the game would have a lot of depth into it. I have a lot of questions though :
  1. Can we finally manually assign housing to any npcs or is it still only automatic? My NPCs kept cramming into one tiny tent and i want them to be able to sleep with their own beds
  2. Do we have more sex poses with natives or is it only with other main NPCs because I've only been using 1 pose so far, even with a proper normal bed. Any mods for more poses?
  3. Can you completely automate farming? Do i need to plant the plants manually or can my villager do it for me? So far they only speed up the growth process.
  4. Any ways to farm exp?
  5. Any armor or stat enhancing stuff or do i have to rely on only my sword and shield for combat?
  6. Any consistent healing plant farm or recipe? Do i need to farm bushes for them or are there any other healing plants?
  7. Are there any male MC with Yona content? I've only rescued Reika and Keigo atm so I haven't encountered any yet. It's a shame that we cannot romance Yona if there aren't any.
  8. Relying on cloth storage is painful, what do i need to craft so i can have a central storage unit for all of my crafting tables?
That's it for now.

2.There's like: consensual scene, grabbing, grabbing pregnant one, sleeping one. Gallery view available via main menu (press LeftShift+P)
4. Reach Chaos Cave and farm Ent Roots, each gives EXP fruits (worth up to 30k exp)
6. Was using Leaf Bed to heal mostly - making some distance and boldly sleeping in front of approaching enemies. But if you really want to farm herbs - craft "Herb Planter" at Leaf Workbench. Chopping some palm trees in desert area near oasis gives coconuts, each heals 10 HP upon use (guaranteed drop + trees respawn on reloading save file)
7. Reach -100 morale on male MC and use club on Yona, then grab her and you have scene. Or use gallery view in main menu
8. Few chaos storages can fit almost everything, even despite limited range

I am not an expert but I'll try to answer the few I can

1- It depends the size of the territory you set for your npc, if the size is too big and cover several house, it'll be a real mess, try to space out your houses.

3- The villagers can do it, but that's very slow and very buggy, I recommend farming the same veggie at one time instead of mixing.

4- Just play, it goes fast, you can also play a lot at the labythinth

5- Sword and shield only so far

7- No romance for Yona and male MC yet

8- The spider workbench can craft something to help with that but I forgot the name

3. planter and harvest box in the territory of a villager set to farm gets the crops automatically in the harvest box and replanted in the planter

6. Plant workbench has a recipe for a herb planter whic spawns healing herbs automatically, if it is in the territory of a harvest native then they will put them in the harvest box

8. Spider, wing and chaos workbenches have upgraded storage options

Is there any guide for how to use water walls? I tried to think one with the search function to no avail.
Mostly, a way to remove the lines you get when you put them together.
Like in pic related.

Might be mistaken, but I believe you can "resize" them to a degree, similar to stairs? (Might remember wrong or mix with memories of another game) but do try it! (IIRC: Ctrl+Click on it, then an option should(?) appear for that) Although you'll still have a size limit I reckon and probably will still have lines inbetween multiple of them. But this might help nevertheless.

Mad Island is a great game but seriously needs more consistent content updates.

Dunno if I'd define it as great thus far.
It does have potential though; up to the developer how well they are going to express it.

As other people already said, and I quote , "everything feels as if it is meant to waste your time and pad the game out making it feel way longer than it really is. Simplistic things like getting the bare minimum of a home and bed or traveling and collecting materials take way longer than they should. The walking/running speed as well as the stat increases for it are absolutely vile".
That's one of my main complaints too. The gathering & crafting system, progression, durability, taming, skills and stats, even just getting to the porn part in a porn game such as this...they do feel tedious when it comes about this game...and I get the project takes inspiration from the "survival" genre and thus from titles such as ARK, The Forest, Conan Exiles, etc...but the way these games work isn't quite gonna cut it for what is essentially a singleplayer porn game and not a multiplayer focused survival mainstream title.

The second complaint I have is simply how lost a new player feels when starting out in Mad Island. Nothing is explained. There's no guidance. I'm thankful for the community made guides we got but the game itself should honestly do a better job at detailing stuff.

The third and probably last one is simply just...for a game where its sandbox is the main attraction, I legit expected to be able to do much more; as things stand ( Idk about future updates ) Yona only has hetero ( sub ) animations to her as well as ones where she's getting raped, she can't be the offender the way the male MC can be. Male MC also doesn't have any gay animations. Separating the main quest in male & female specific quests is also kind of sad ( what if I wanted to have my shot at Reika while playing as Yona for example? ). We do already have bestiality for Bigfoot and the werewolf, why not expand on it to other creatures? We can already tame underground women, why not type A-B-C androids and the likes? Why not the Ent Queen? Etc.

There's just...so much untapped potential which'd allow for the game to be so much more fun for so many people.

Right now the game just feels...not bad but not great I'd say?

Better enjoy the slow progression while you still have the ability to do so. Once you figure out how the game ticks, it will take you an ingame week, maybe two, depending on how chill you're playing, to get over level 100 and the best gear available in the current version.

While I do understand this complaint, once one does understand how the game works, it is actually very quick in my opinion.
The only real slow part I find would be if you rely solely on materials gathered by the natives, but nevertheless, I, personally, did enjoy the grind when I first tried it out - who knows some options might make it into the game to speed it up, or a mod, without straight up feeling like cheating.

The second complaint I have is simply how lost a new player feels when starting out in Mad Island. Nothing is explained. There's no guidance.
I do agree that there should be much more explained to a new player - which I do hope will come with future updates.
The "How to Play" button thingy is a good start, explaining some controls, but should definitely not be the entire end of it.
Then again, other games do have no tutorial, no explanation at all - But it'd still be nice to have a little more at the very least.

...for a game where its sandbox is the main attraction, I legit expected to be able to do much more;
All things considered, I do find it already "plenty" for such a game. (I wouldn't say no to more, don't get me wrong, especially other combos and preferences and whatnot, but everything already in currently is already quite a lot when I think about it IMO)

There's just...so much untapped potential which'd allow for the game to be so much more fun for so many people.
Yes and there'll always be much more untapped potential - even if your preferences and/or ideas get implemented.
For one, the game is not complete just yet.
On the other hand, we also need to think of it as a product that will eventually finish development.
While I certainly would like a lot more content from the devs to fill potential, we do need to eventually move on.
Where do we draw the line? I think this is heavily based on personal acceptance - not everything is a live-service game and even those eventually reach an end - all without fully tapping on their potential, because there's always gonna be more.

When the thought of buying it comes to mind, I would recommend anyone to consider everything currently in the game and potentially check for actual promises(not just potential ideas) from the devs of what is still to come. I've been pretty much out of touch for quite a while, so I am unable to comment on that - but I can say that, even if the story were to finish and the game be considered complete, I would personally be fine with it, considering the enjoyment I did get out of the game for the price it has.
(I still would like more, of course, but I personally would not feel bad about it)
For those uncertain, I'd recommend waiting until it reaches said point, or just not buying it - luckily here at least, we can try out more than just a 5 minute demo before deciding whether we're gonna buy it on respective platforms or not :KEK:

All things considered, I would define this game as great for sure - and I do hope it reaches that point for you, too.

Keep in mind, this is of course my personal opinion on the matter and should not, nor will it ever be the one thing everyone agrees with - we're all different and that's fine too!

Can vouch it's possible to kill first Ent Roots within 30 mins and then just faceroll every enemy in game (thanks to getting huge power increase from EXP fruits)

Totally true, the game is cool to explore and have some very fucking scary looking enemies but its not hard to play at all unless u craft items to get infinitely hard raids with like 50+ 200lvl+ enemies

Btw there must be children in the game (villagers shouldn't just be born grown, we even have item to increase age for that), that's one of the things "dlc00 none" above options window supposed to do. Does somebody know if it will be added here or smth about loading it? Thx in advance to guy who knows and replies.

Since there is children in the DLC and it break the rule 7 of this forum as the message above said, nothing about it will be posted here.
