Haven't tried this yet, as I've beat Death a few times now, but I see the Japanese wiki stating:

The current method for defeating the Grim Reaper is for the protagonist to use the chainsaw on him while his companions are being taken out by his followers​

(likely a parody of Makai Toushi Saga).​

But my problem is defeating his followers. They insta-kill my followers, even my extremely high level ones.

There's already a video in youtube of someone killing the reaper(Mr. Eroge), in short let someone be a bait for the raid with a decoy charm in a high place, then let women hit the two servants with fast weapons like shurikens while you do the same with the reaper at close distance so it doesn't reflect damage, better if you have food for some buffs.

It looks like the first time is the hardest, after killing them you get his weapon so it's more easy.

EDIT: I gave it a try, could kill the reaper and get his weapon and recipe book but i couldn't get the servants killed, will see what i got wrong.

You need a cursed orb, from killing an underground woman you feed a mandrake to instead of taming her got get the ghost version. And then you need a regular mirror shield from the dungeon. I am not sure if there is some requirement to unlocking it other then having those two items, but if you use it right, you can tame even max level natives. One of my villages is defended by max level muscle mommies.

Thanks, I've finally managed to figure it out now. For anyone interested, you need to:
Capture an Underground Woman
Tame her
Kill her with Mandrake
Tame her
Kill her again
Trade the Curse Orb for the Cursed Shield from the Trader.
Go to the dungeon and get a Mirror Shield from the boss chest.
Get 20 Chaos Ore
THEN you get the option to make the Cursed Mirror Shield using the Cursed Shield, Mirror Shield and 20 Chaos Ore in your inventory.

I can see why I never bothered to make one before! Thanks again.

Why should they do that? I don't know.

I'm just being flooded with videos on YouTube about Steam doing it right now.

Big and small YouTubers are talking about it, and MasterCard says they don't require it, but Steam says they do. And that there's a man-hating group from Australia behind it.

I'm from Germany, where titles for over 18s are hidden by Steam anyway. They don't want to deal with German youth protection laws. So Steam has blocked the content altogether.

That's why I'm glad there are forums like F95Zone.

To be honest, I don't really know about this MasterCard and Visa thing, but if a bunch of dumb feminists from Australia don't have enough thrills, they can come to our country, every night is sexy here, drones, missiles, air bombs, fun until the early morning

I still have an issue with that.
Food buffs don't apply to MC.

And even with those, you would have no way to attain such insane speed levels.
So, of course, with insane leveling/cheating in some 5 time the speed you would have normally, it makes the fight easier, but...
That's not what I would call legit after all.

I still need to try the shuriken and/or chainsaw, but again, either like some people have said before we missed some of the tips, or something else has to be done, because it doesn't feel natural at all.
Heck, even the LAST boss you can fight without taking any damage, without that much difficulty either.
This game may be cluncky at time, but I find it to be fair to be honest.
So... Why would just that boss in that raid go against everything so far? Feels weird.
But maybe I'm trying to think too far...

Yes, someone mentioned the Mr Eroge vid, but tbh it doesn't work for his followers, and isn't the easiest method for Death either. Besides, is their any way you can legit get that giant prison guard, let alone the final dungeon guardian? Not to mention hordes of them. Even if there is, I think your chances are extremely thin. I put it to you he's cheating. And if you're looking to cheat there are easier ways than this.

The best advice from the vid might be in grinding out 100 steak to try and boost your followers damage, but I don't know... It seems like it still wouldn't be reliable at all. I mean right down into dumb luck IMO. I've put out about 40 steak and 50 pizza, and it doesn't make enough of a difference. I simply can't believe you've done it and succeeded, even once, using this method. If so, then let us know the details as much as possible.

Just found something worth trying.
I did beat the boss with chainsaw, that was agreat tip indeed.

And from one of the recipes, the golden cross, it HAS a range somehow...

He's cheating alright.
That's all fine and dandy, we do what we all want on this game, but I wouldn't call it the way to do it for sure ahah.

Meal boosts won't help much. The numbers are too high for that.
I remember the meal boosts are limited by the number of raiders too.
So 3?
3 meals have to do it?
That's not gonna happen.

And even if it did, they have 50 000 hp, and hit around 4000.
Even with 100 steaks, you would get 400 more attack, and 100 defense.
Great, now your followers only need to attack each 100 times before they hit them back at 3900.

I think the trick is in the items.
But to remove the damage reflection, you NEED to kill the small ones, as the recipe ask for it too.


So there has to be something else.

So far what I have learned is that any weapon/attack you can spam for quick damage works for Death. You just need to stay within the blue circle or it will be reflected back at you. So the Cursed hand isn't any good, as the magic effect lasts for too long. You'll end up outside the ring dodging his attacks, and end up knocked by your own reflected damage. Best to have an attack that sweeps past and is gone, keeping in mind you don't want it to hit his servants, or again you'll be downed. Chainsaw is absolutely great, as it's fast, continuous damage you don't even have to think about. Have a hut and a bed nearby to get those hearts back and you'll do fine.

Servants are a whole other deal. Seems like all your ranged attacks, at any range, are reflected back. I swear even my villagers ranged attacks are reflected back, but I'd need to test that better. And the Servants attacks do huge damage that quickly downs anything. And their area damage is extreme. And they have ranged attacks they use often. That are homing. And they just teleport whenever they feel like it. And have health pools as big as oceans.

Think I'll walk away for now.

Don't, doesn't do anything so far. Put it where I fight the raid with my npc, doesn't change anything at all.
That might be the right item, but maybe the wrong way to use it though, dunno.

The steam version has a strange DRM, but I think I managed to bypass it. If you have any problems, write.

And I forgot to delete the folder with the cheat plugin, if you don't need it, just delete the folder with bepin

You don't have to worry about the cheat plugin, unfortunately it doesn't work in this version.

i searched the file and the shinigami and the servants are all named animals in front, and the dark outfit from the chao desk after defeating shinigami has a young lady (like Man's child and the npc is a young man) does this foretell that yona can get pregnant with npc?

yes, I didn't intend to, I had no idea that save files are in the game folder, usually Unity stores them in the appdata.

I have another question, does the cheat plugin work in the new version for anyone?
