While the demand wasn't super high, you can see even in this thread(a loooooooong ways back by now) people were asking for save files to check out other people's island. I imagine it was a common enough idea among various player bases that it reached the devs and they figured to themselves it would be a simple enough feature to implement. Not the first time they bit of more than they can chew but i'm sure they'll get their act together. They do seem to want the game to have a community to it, hence the support for mods and this visit/raid idea they want to implement. Don't be surprised if next they want to make this an mmo.

Me, i'm at the point I just want a new island to explore with new events and secrets, but i've always seen that as dlc for the finished product, a sequel or the tinkerings of the mod community. That's why i've always been in favor of the game getting done, events, items, h-scenes can always get slotted in but the major thing i want to see won't happen till you tie nice bow on this. But I got patience to spare, i read One Piece don't you know, in fact we're in a break week right now.
I personally want way more h scenes

I don’t think anyone is saying that no one wanted it but we are just saying they could have used that time for more pressing content. Finishing the story, give older npcs h content or main npcs/Yona pregnancies.

Now you can put the dialogues you want
you can't though? Just changing a few already available options:

"You can change dialogue for normal conversations (liked person information, disliked person information, when they like the protagonist, when they dislike the protagonist, etc.), and also edit the dialogue spoken by the protagonist when in visit mode with the visit feature."

The way I read the future changelog, this feature will be available though.... than again you'd either take the time to make some meaningfull banter or wait for someone else doing and shareing it.

Spam feeding carrots. Do it manually by highlighting him then right-clicking the carrots in your inventory.

+Moral food has no effect once they go into food boxes. -Moral too, for that matter. All food, once placed inside the food box only contribute their food value, not water or moral or any other effects. You are effectively "feeding" the food box to increase its food value, and other NPCs (or you) can "eat" from the food box later, drawing on its food value. There is no record of whatever items going into it.

Rain collector is broken and don't work for NPCs. I tried spamming the whole work area with them and they don't work either. The glowing blue circle is a big fat lie. Use a well. If you can't scrounge out the iron ingots needed for the well then you can manually give them water using water skins or bowls, to tide things over until you can craft a well.

To initiate sex between a PC and NPC, you need a positive relationship of at least 51 between that PC and that NPC. There must also be a H-animation enabled for that interaction. AFAIK none of the Yona x (normal/variant) Young Man scenes have been implemented in-game yet, so you can't initiate consensual sex between Yona and a grown-up son of the MC. (DLC sons might be a different story, I think?)

To check, click the NPC while controlling Yona and see if there's a sex option under Talk. If the NPC responds with "not yet" (or rarely "..."), then there is a H-scene and you just need to get their relationship to 51 and above. If Sex isn't even an option then there is no consensual H-scene implemented yet.

Click to highlight the NPC, click status from the pop-up options, click the "Order" tab on the NPC's status menu, then click
on "Allow love" under comunication (sic) and make sure it is disabled.

Actually, come to think of it, do that for every NPC and don't ever bother with the hot mess that is the relationship system. Unless your colony devolving into spontaneous Rimworld-style chaos is your thing. As a bonus, you now don't have to bother with stupid buggy houses either.

Just enable them back selectively for NPC you WANT inter-NPC relationships to happen (either positive or negative), after screening for personality types.

They will still get horny, but IIRC it shouldn't be a problem with Allow Love disabled. You can still lower lust using the human toilet (staff it with a random female captive, you don't even need to befriend them first), and for Life Orb farming purposes it's in fact even easier with Allow Love disabled because they have lower thresholds for using the toilet with Allow Love turned off. (And I think they get +1 moral from it too)

Stuff crafting mats into storages (cloth/spider/wing). Stuff inside them area available for crafting from nearby workbenches. Regularly top them up with a fat surplus so you don't have to go hunt down mats later. If needed, exploit the pause functionality to place storages/workbenches closer than they are normally allowed. (Just not too close to the point you have problems ctrl-clicking them.)

Put misc. stuff into a chest (or central collection of chests) in a dedicated spot so you know where to go look for items you couldn't find a use for previously.
Thanks, really useful stuff. Just one added question; even after I disabled love my NPC is still losing moral and the prompt still says he's suffering from unrequited love sometimes. Any other fix?

Huh, guess it doesn't work sometimes if unrequited love is already triggered. Which NPC is he having unrequited love over? Is it fixable if you disable love also for his unrequited crush or if you set both of their territories (blue circle) to not overlap? Or entirely different bases for good measure? (relationship adjustments are not supposed to happen if the territory circles don't overlap, even if both NPCs walk into each other territories, but this can be buggy.)

The way it is intended is that unrequited love will inevitably lead to raping the unrequited crush when the one suffering unrequited love reaches -100 moral. They will prioritize this over attacking other NPCs (or the PC). This will temporarily fix their moral then the cycle will repeat. Unfortunately this whole thing breaks if there isn't a H-scene implemented.

If there is a consensual H-scene... maybe things can be fixed if you roofie the girl with aphrodisiacs or equip her with the Lust Ring. Make sure there is a bed nearby, turn on Allow Love and Allow Sex for both, and they should both do the deed "consensually" (ha!), increasing both of their affinities for each other. Once the girl's affinity for the man improves to -49 or more this should turn off unrequited love and you can disable Allow Love and wash your hands of the problem.

I've disabled love for everyone already, which seems to have made all the women start masturbating/having lesbian sex on the beds - which brings me to another question, how many beds is "enough" beds? I've got 10 or so members in my village and like 3 beds and a leaf house; I see the guide says they need beds for moral, but are they just taking turns having sex/masturbating in them?

The main limiting factor for everything seems to be fibre for ropes. I've set NPCs to harvest, is there anywhere else I can get them efficiently?

Chop trees in forest areas (dark green ground and trees, not light green plains/grasslands). Replant them as necessary. Make sure you have at least Level 3 in the Gathering skill for 2x resources so they'll give 4 fiber per tree (2 fiber at base with Level 0 Gathering).

Might want to selectively disable sex to if the constant sex is annoying and slows down NPC work. Disabling love does have a side effect of lowering the threshold where they start having sex.

Alternatively you can also remove all outdoor beds. With love disabled from the get go at the very start it doesn't seem to incur any moral penalties, though I'm not sure how things work if the NPCs are already involved in a tangled web of relationships.

Beds are needed for moral in the sense that NPCs sleeping in a bed in a house recover a hefty amount of moral when the day passes. I believe the intent is that NPCs will inevitably suffer from moral losses when working in a group and the beds are meant to counteract this. Unfortunately in a lot of cases this moral recovery is not enough.

But how would it work? Many use mods now. I myself use over 150 of them, none of which I have uploaded to Steam. None of them cheat the game either, they're decorative and functional (like an in-ground pool for Mermaid). Which means if you wanted to browse my save, then the mods I'm using would need to be packaged up with it. That introduces it's own problems.

On the other hand the raids interest me. Not the grim reaper stuff so much, but the normal and Halloween raids allow people to challenge themselves in a repeatable way, as well as collect high level NPCs to tame. Not to mention outfits, resources, orbs, weapons, etc. I'd love to see a new raid that follows in the footsteps of the standard raid but with a new flavor, like the Halloween raid does. Sprinkle in there some uniques, like NPCs, outfits, weapons etc, and I'll be a very happy man.
150 mods? Where do you get them, and what are those 150 mods about? Do they add community-made content or something?

I almost only use my own mods. They are decorative and functional mods I made using the games mod creator. I did post about it... and... I've found that post for you:

https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-v0-4-4-8-beta-e-made.209671/post-17639808

I even posted a set of walls for people to try... here:

https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-v0-4-4-8-beta-e-made.209671/post-17656260

Since then of course I've made more mods. Everything from bear skin and tiger skin rugs people can sleep on (they mask a leaf bed hidden under them) to a lab themed ass wall (again, it masks a normal ass wall behind it) to many more simple decorations or variants to existing objects. They're just a bit of fun to make, and I find they add interest and variation to the game.

I see, so your point is even more strongly reinforced then. Because if you add the factor of whether or not the banned content exists in the save, it also makes a difference that can damage or corrupt the save when loaded into another game.

Honestly, I think development should focus on other factors to further refine it. For example, (besides adding a greater variety of scenes between NPCs, of course), other endings, or taking advantage of the fact that if the dev is going to give the male MC more context to his story with his original companions, then he should add more exclusive content for the Male MC or even an origin world from his perspective. And of course, with so many relationships, I'm surprised some NTR doesn't exist in the game at this point, and I hope it will be added in the future when the existence of these NPCs is added and they have time. Additionally, it wouldn't hurt to provide more context for the island's existence, or even a better way to connect the different parts of the story. Unless you see it in a guide or explore it, it doesn't look good at all when there's nothing to "guide" them between the events. This is especially noticeable, for example, in how you obtain the different parts of the key to go to the top of the map, or even the existence of the cosmetics shop, but there's nothing to take you there in the game itself.

Don't get me wrong, games of this style without a story beyond the one you create yourself aren't bad. Kenshi is the best example of this. But if you're going to include a story, then at least try to make the exclusive part of it connect more or less well.
Does anyone know how to get Reika's stone bench sex animation after finishing her story?
That scene is included in the guide, but in short: Be a nuisance to the relationship between Reika and her boyfriend. Don't let anything happen to Reika during their first and second encounters, and be nice to her with the male MC during their third encounter, and everything will be perfect.

2b. Work also went into developing a "Dialogue Editor" feature. The goal is to let players edit non-story dialog (ie. banter) of NPCs. Things like them talking about people they like or hate, and how they talk to the PC depending on whether they like or hate the PC. Related to 2a, the player can also edit lines their NPCs will say when another player visits their save.
Oooh! I like this! That sounds like a pretty cool feature. Though probably a lot of work to edit lol.

Unfortunately 2a. and 2b. run into localization issues with players seeing another language if they visit a save file of a player using another language, and the whole thing can get even messier when Workshop stuff are involved... so this whole thing has been shelved for now until they can figure out a way to solve the issues.
Well, an easy solve would be to only make that feature work in solo mode. If you someday choose to use the Visit mode, the personalized dialogues could be disabled.

That said, I wonder... wouldn't the problem still exist for the in-built dialogues? Not that there's much, but there is some...

3. Work shifted towards a "Rescue the Girls Hanging from the Native Boss" sub event. The Native Boss will be made to respawn after loading a save, so people can continue with this event even with preexisting saves. (Yay, no fiddling about with cheats or save-editing needed! Probably.)
Nice! Solves the problem, even if it doesn't logically make sense (he's supposed to be dead! lol) but... it's not like the game makes a lot of sense anyway :ROFLMAO:

you can't though? Just changing a few already available options:

"You can change dialogue for normal conversations (liked person information, disliked person information, when they like the protagonist, when they dislike the protagonist, etc.), and also edit the dialogue spoken by the protagonist when in visit mode with the visit feature."
Note the 'etc.'

Implies there'll be more to it, presumably.

how would a new player go about that exactly?
Step one: Propose sex
Step two: Challenge for the top position
Step three: During your fierce battle, target the clothes in a precise and skillfull manner!

Jokes aside, when they're tamed, or unconcious, you can target them, then open your equipment window. Your equipment window should instead show whatever you have targeted (tamed or unconcious/dead(?))
