You said you can ONLY play the game as man... please be coherent than.
Yes you need to play as BOTH characters to advance the game... mans only quest requirement is the fight against the treant king (and if Yorna chose to save Takumi to save him from the Dungeons I gues) though... anything else is optional, while you need to complete ALL Quests of Yorna regardeing her friends to advance the quest.
If anything your logic is a total turn around as Quest wise Man is optional in most of the main story and only mandatory for the Endboss fight, while Yorna is the one actually driving the story forward.
Also depending on your choices in the Endboss fight Man becomes unavailable right after forcing you to play as Yorna.

The door/gems are universal.

You need the giant and Sally (clearing dungeons) for the path to open. Both are MAN quests.

You do need Takumi IIRC, but his quest is super short and easy and tied into Reika/Keigo. So a breeze.

Devs could have easily made more quests universal.

Yes. Capture one native, breed her. Now you have her children. Breed them too, personally or with each other. Eventually, you'll have a whole colony, all closely related and having a lot of sex with each other (but with no in-game effects of that).
Nobody ever objects to incestous relationships in this game.

Am new to this game and i have a few question...can you befriend non agressive native?Multiple time i have meet native in this game where they literaly do nothing when am in front of them,is there a way to recruit them withouth bonking and kidnapping them?

Another question i have is abouth the Mermaid...is there some other way to get the sex animation after the quest or its forever titjob?

For sex you need to have bed (leaf bed won't work). You can then move there to have sex.

I've a few people mention that "raids" don't happen in v0.41... they happen pretty regularly in my game unless there is some other meaning for this?

first, did u build ur base as sky base? sea base? or base that was built higher than a Maxed Y axis stairs. If so, its normal that raid won't come to u anymore.

second, did the targeted npc u have standing on high ground? or standing higher than the stairs i mentioned above. If so, no for u again.

It's random. But chances can be affected by placing male (looks like penis) or female (looks like a vagina bun) manjou (crafted at cooking table) near bed where the birthing will occur.

after u recruited mermaid, make her stay in water and she can craft water block for u. With one small exp berry for normal sea water.

I just found it,coincidentaly,its above the flower boss fight,just continue up and at some point you should see a blue marker very slightly to the left.

nah, its more like building stairs and set ur base higher than surface of the sea.

No raid occurred because (usually these reason)
・The location where the raiders appeared cannot be found on the screen, not on the minimap. (The raid target was surrounded by sea or the terrain is uneven.)
・There are many items that reduce the number of attackers, and the number of attackers is below 0.
・The raiders are being blocked by invisible wall
・The raid target was standing high on a platform, inside a building or a platform on the sea
There are possibilities like this.
