guys I think game needs a UI rework or something, trying to found the item to craft through 10 different bench without a search bar is annoying and I think there should be some consequences when we die, we are not losing anything when we die basically. and I also think taming native's and animals should be harder maybe they can add a hard mode or something like that to add all these features.
All you're asking is a hard mode which you can easily create for yourself by adding some rules to your game. I don't think half of the playerbase wants an hardcore survival game but a sandbox style survival game. Although I do agree with the workbench but at this point I don't think we will get something like that. Would love for someone to mod in a workbench that combines every workbench and has a filter as end game content.
As an OG Minecraft player that played since Alpha, Hardcore was only created after the full release of the game and I would say that the early versions of alpha are more hardcore than the hardcore we have now simply due to the many OP items the game has to save your life and changes made to the gameplay since then, besides for the average minecraft player, mostly kids, and early game.
PS:Not trying to sound agressive or anything, just giving an example on how I don't think hardcore mode solves anything, because of how the game was designed in the first place. Hope you don't take the way I talk in the wrong way.
