Some details:

I made 75 Healthy Drinks and kept feeding them to the Ent Queen. I only used 25 Healthy drinks by the end. She went down once, while I was focusing on bringing down Death with the chainsaw, but the servants then chased after me. She got back up and I rushed close enough to give her a couple more healthy drinks. Then I finished off Death, while she brought down the first Servant. Then I just kept her up with Healthy Drinks while she finished off the second.

Her thorns attack does not seem to be reflected back on her and she quickly builds up a deep tangle of them, that damages and slows the servants. Her healing effect does some good to any villagers, but this seems minor compared to her direct effect.

Worth noting I got 12 soul shards from the Servants (6 each) and a different scythe (2 of course).

update v0.4.4.3 [beta]
We identified a critical bug and have released an urgent hotfix.

■ Fixes & Adjustments

Fixed an issue where apparel visuals were not applied on load for NPCs with no equipment.

Fixed a bug where swapping gear in the Apparel system could fail to save data correctly.

Fixed an issue where allied NPCs’ enemy detection was being blocked by the Reaper’s aura effect.

Adjusted the floating position when equipping “Wisp.”

Fixed an issue where allied NPCs’ animation speed sometimes didn’t return to normal after a raid.

Fixed a bug where playtime in save data would stop counting beyond a certain duration.

Adjusted so the Ent Queen can equip items that are available to all characters.

Fixed a bug where NPC stats calculated from the map level were not computed correctly at spawn.
Updated?

Giant fell in battle as a follower, is that permament?
Nope, all NPC go back up after a while.
There are only two things that cause permanent death that I know of:
- Failed rescue after a failed raid.
- Shark attack.

I was thinking of trying her, but didn't know what she was doing as I never used her.
She does have enough HP I guess then?
Because, yeah, getting 30 lvl 1 000 000 npc wasn't exactly on my todo list to be honest.... :p
Thanks for the tip!

Also, still haven't found why the golden cross has a range when placed, but does nothing noticable during the raids.
Dunno if you all have noticed this, but Eroge has a golden cross in that video. You can see it near the north-east edge of his base. Can't help but wonder if that didn't help him in some way.

I LEGIT BEAT THE RAID!!!!

Ent Queen is the answer. I found it, it was me!!! First!! LOL
Can't say that I'm surprised. Thought it was a great idea when you first mentioned it.

A Dark Tree might also be super useful, though you'd have to either cheat or start the raid in the Chaos area near one of them and lure the servants near it.

It's been a long time, but I seem to remember my mermaid being killed by a shark when I did her quest and her coming back as expected, so I don't think shark attacks are lethal.

As far as I know, the failed rescue is the only permanent death in the game.

Damn, I know I'm nearsighted, but still!
Nice find, I wouldn't have noticed.
IF it did help though, we still don't know how sadly.

I do remember in my first playthrough, building right at the starter location, a lot of NPC would try and attack sharks.
They would be killed, and a message "x was swept away" or something like that appeared.
And of course, no body left behind.
That was my first playthrough, so I didn't check details, like friend list or other stuff, so can't confirm, but it MIGHT be killing the random NPC, perhaps the unique one still have plot armor even for death itself... :p

A question, in version v0.4.4.2, is it now possible to have two of the same main NPCs in the same game, one as a slave and the other as a companion?

Okay, I can beat the raids now, but I still don't know how to get the dark mirror that should allow me to customize my outfit... Any ideas? Am I missing it somewhere?

EDIT: Yay, I found it! It's not the dark mirror he showed in his post. It's called the Spider Closet and it can be made in the Spider Workbench.

Where to place werewolf?
You need the large metal cage for that. The one that says "Large Animals".
You can craft it at the iron workbench. Place the cage and then just place the werewolf in there like with any other animal or person.

Giant fell in battle as a follower, is that permament?
No. They are just unconscious for a while. They'll get back up in a few minutes.
Followers can't die permanently unless you kill them yourself or if they are captured by natives in a raid and you leave them to die.

What we found since then:
- Chainsaw has been recommanded, and is actually the better weapon to kill death the first time, and maybe still after. That was a great tip.
- Mr Eroge cheats (can't reach that speed naturally, and food buff doesn't affect MC), so it's not really a good method.
At least Death kill is doable, the servants, very much less so.
- Either you need hundreds of units, which feels wierd, or there's another hint we missed to help for the servants part.
There's gotta be a "legit" way, with no exploit and/or cheats to deal with the raid though.

Also, still haven't found why the golden cross has a range when placed, but does nothing noticable during the raids.
Just to clarify, you can level your characters little by little in raids, until you get to the point where you can beat level 1m raids, that's how I got 4176 levels. There's lots of methods on how to make the raids easier; Chaos Totem is a must have, but not initially; putting a Decoy Charm on a combat type "Survivor" NPC, making them unhittable by all enemies from Default and Halloween raid enemies; Cursed Hand weapon is pretty good for raid farming.

My stats are 500 health, 3860 strength and 1510 speed currently, when speed is not limited you get flinged very far up in the air by slight terrain changes. He moves much slower than that though, so I'm assuming he's around 2k levels.

I don't recommend going over 1k speed (I made a mistake of going over) though, it's annoying; in some fights you wait to land more then fight.

TLDR; yes you can reach those speeds relatively easily through farming increasingly escalating raids.

Great game, it just needs more H-scenes, but it's a preference, the game itself without the scenes is great.

Most likely you can try to go to Mad Island_Data > StreamingAssets > XML and edit the SaveSettings.xml file.

My guess is the resoId can be changed to fit what you need better, but you won't have a full ultrawide resolution, just one you can actually see what you are doing, which is already better than what you have currently I guess!

Thank you, but unfortunately that did not do anything.
