See, I'm looking for some clarification on this: my game is uncensored, but not completely. Yona's bits are blurred out during scenes; so are female natives when they goon. I did do the whole schuck-and-jive with the none.bat file, but I also have the DLC and the cheat mod that requires BepInEx. As I understand it, the DLC supposedly uncensors (not really clear on that), and the cheat mod also has uncensoring options. Would they conflict in any way with the none.bat file, or are some of the females being blurred baked in?

I experimented with the different options a bit over a month ago, and that did the full job with the least drop in performance. Just put that DLL in the plugins folder of BepInEx.

I've already got that and I've used it on a multitude of games I've downloaded from here. Only reason I haven't installed it yet in this game is because I was trying to figure out if the problem was something else... though, looking at Evangelion's response, I can't imagine why the hell I thought it was some kind of conflict [slaps self in head for sheer stupidity]. In any case, I appreciate the thought, man.

Is it the regular version or the β version or do you have to use both?

Also do I need to use unstable version or stable to use DLC? And does unstable version here have more content?

Unstable version is the beta version of the game and the version with the most content.
use β dlc if you use that version.

I don't think they can wear anything at all under any conditions, unless you use the torso of the mummy, which is itself wrapped in bandages, so that might count to you. Though she still isn't wearing anything and can't take them off, in reality. If you know of any way to get them to wear clothing let me know!

The only native with other native animation is right now the normal and female native

Normal native and female have 2 (Extra 1 with the forced), but that's it, dev is focusing right now with new NPC's leaving the old ones still without content

Depends on how you look at it.
They are a team of an Artist and a Coder... art normally takes longer than codeing and this feature is solely based on coding.
So their Coder just found a way to occupie himself while the artist is still working on sprites and scenes.
With all base mechanics in place there isn't much more a coder can do without the artwork.

I think that file needs to be located at:

Mad Island\Mad Island_Data\StreamingAssets\XML\none.bat

Doesn't matter what, if anything, is in the file.

I've always placed it in the game's root folder (came like that, too, when I first installed the game) and it's always worked.

I suspect both locations work.

Although it's also possible the dev has changed this as I haven't updated in a long time and have been seeing the XML folder mentioned more often recently :shrug:

All I know is that I've never seen anything censored in my game. I downloaded it from the links in this thread (OP) and it came with none.bat. Also, I don't use BepInEx.

So, if there is no conflict, I'm assuming there might be a bug in the cheats.

What do you recommend for leveling up my NPCs?

The fastest way to level them up is to have them follow you while you clear high level raids. Use the Chaos Totem to set the raid to as high a level and as many enemies as you and your PC can handle. This method is less effective the higher the level of your NPC.

After that, training is super handy. Leave them with enough punching bags that they each have their own and they'll just keep leveling up without you doing anything. Set their area to be not much bigger than the punching bag, and set them to Guard so they train 24/7.
