Well...you might want to define your meaning of Guro on it, because combat would be a thing, heavy attack would chop limbs off
However there is a setting called "Guro"
Be honest with you, IDK what it does, just tested it, limbs still gets chop off

In the story,
I can only recall "four" times where some Guro would happen

In the gameplay,
there's seven to eight elements to have Guro related stuff

So if your guro = minecraft Peaceful mode? might not gonna happen.
Specially when this game has more or less a R18G tag worthy
I'm okay with violence in battles, just not with any gore related sexual practices in game. I'm gonna check it out anyway. Thanks.

Oh Guro ties to sexual related?
There's only ONE scene and you can easily avoid it by not getting defeat'd as Yona/Female MC by the TWO Hunters

I choose to spoil the two hunters part to give you a heads up on it, the spoil part is the options after being defeat'd
Other than that? there is not much, Unless you count revived Android sex as Necrophilia then it's Two
Both are Yona's scenes, both can be easily avoided by not getting defeat'd

It's probably worth mentioning that if you put an excavation site in the swamp area you'll also get mandrake roots. They are a rare drop, but I have three excavation stations (just side by side), with ten people manning them. From that I've gotten over forty mandrake passively.
This is indeed worth mentioning. (Old reply post, I know.)
And also a Good reason for me to make yet ANOTHER Base there xD

Originally I was just gonna stop here, but I notice how only the Mud area of the excavation got clay and mandrake
So I made another one, this is the early version, I went ahead and make it bigger instead, covering the entire mud area.

The drops rate is definitely low, but still better than 0+ chance of spawning Mandrake in the Forest
1748974677973.png 1748974703470.png
Now I just need more slaves/workers on it so I get a higher rate Mandrake farm
Why do I need so much Mandrake? IDK...honestly. Gonna upgrade EVERY underground Woman I ever Captured I guess?
Over 50+ of them more or less, gonna be a fun time on that one.
(Imagine the Dev adds in an Easter egg ontop of it, making you the player whom dump so much underground woman body into that one well will become cursed and spawns zombies out, that's will be funny xD)

I just so happen to have over 700+ unused Blue candle lamp and suitable to use it to count and mark each of the FAKE Mandrake grass
So when there is an actual Mandrake? it will be unmarked and you can identify with that image I provide to check if it is a Mandrake or an unmarked Fake mandrake grass

This trick is definitely not for everyone
For me, it's an easy spot to my eyes + I am somewhat able to record and notice that Mandrake mainly spawns around this region more often
So let me rephrase my question, because I have a feeling we're not on the same wavelength :D

I saw that picture you posted, and while the difference is not immediately obvious, it's there. But, if it's there, if it's visible, it means you can spot it directly, so why use markers at all?

Or, to put it yet another way, I don't understand what the markers achieve?

No I have not killed the native boss. I haven't done much venturing outside the area you spawn in. Been trying to get my camp set up first but I am struggling getting my Villagers water with only 1 well.

I suppose I need to look for that boss first? I am really trying to avoid the story until I have a comfortable supply of equipment and stuff, but what do you recommend? Do I bite the bullet and just explore?

Another thing, I am a harem master... it's in my blood. Without many spoilers, is it possible to romance all the girls (excluding Yona, which as far as I am aware she is WIP) at the same time? like maybe rescue them and having them all in the camp for myself?
Honestly, I think you're making things harder on yourself. Most of us ended up moving our base at some point. That beach front is a good place to start but it's frankly not ideal in the long run. Chances are you'll want to move. So I wouldn't recommend putting so much work into this base if it's to just tear it apart in a week, you know?

And also, when you finally decide to move your base, you'll need a blue flag. And like UnknownLurkingUser mentioned, to make that blue flag you'll need to defeat that native boss first.

I think, in that early stage of the game, it's best to focus on increasing your stats and skills so you get better at fighting. You can focus on base building later, once you're more comfortable with the game and how the mechanics work.

Anyway, that's my advice, for what it's worth ;)

Oh, and as for building a harem, hell yes, totally doable. It'll take time to make them all love you (and lots of dancing) but yes. Just make sure your girls don't live next to personalities they clash with and you'll be gold.

The difference is very small. Ordinary people would have a hard time spotting it, considering they need to check out the whole swamp with hundreds of non-mandrake plants.
But with a glowing marker near every bush, it's much easier to spot the bush without a marker.

Okay, here's a simplified way for the Marker to exist
Here's a BUNCH of 1's and a Few L's, can you spot all of the L's while not looking at it for over 1+ minute?
1749013522287.png

While it can be obvious to you, some people will struggle at finding it as the difference is SO Tiny.
Here's now with all the 1's marked with Blue, with the L appears out of nowhere, you can easily see where the L's are
1749014084427.png
1 = Fake Mandrake Grass
L = Mandrake which has 0+ chance to spawn

"0+ Chance to spawn"
Think of it as the place got chances of 0~4 of L to spawn
There are chances of you not seeing them at all or there will be 4 spawned in the area.
1749014254776.png 1749014525971.png

Now if you ask me why the Regular Orange Candle marker, that's just for me to see where they often spawn in the area as my Past post had mentioned, being near North-East/East region of that Mushroom forest
I have not yet saw any Mandrake spawning at the South-West/West/North-West areas
