The pink milky/cow is too hard to find. :(

I see the fish trap, the wood trap, but I can't see the leaf trap.
Yeah the pink cow is hard to find, just have to keep searching around the mountains or spawn one with console commands(don't ask me codes, i don't use em)

He said the leaf trap but he meant the fish trap which is made from leaves, set it and eventually you'll get shrimp.

from the sounds of it you probably never found the gator in the swamp neither, at this point i'm starting to think i misremembered encountering one in the swamp.

There seems to be a limit to items spawned in each area, if you are haveing issues of encountering special kind of animals it might be in your best interest to farm any harvestable item in a region (that includes trees and bushes btw).
Pink Cows don't seem to be any different to normal cows... or atleast I never noticed a difference except they use Breast Milk for tameing instead of vegetables

I'm pretty sure there is a gator in the swamp.

Large lobster seems to have a fixed location in the swamp, in one of the bigger puddles.
Tigers are said to appear during blood rain.

dlc download is broke, anyone have a fix or alt download?
There is no DLC download on this site. Go to developer's website, and take it there - it's free.

I found the gator the very first time I entered the swamp. Killed it because I was playing blind and didn't realize it was a rare spawn. Haven't seen it again since.

It's nothing to be concnerned about unless you want every animal in your personal zoo actually.
In regards to guards they are barely any higher than spiders and wolfes.

Honestly I only consider 3 enemies to be worth to keep (haven't checked for White Tigers yet... atleast they are nice to look at though).
Big Foot, that giant mutated Elephant and the Angler (for it being a free moveable light source early on).
Anything else is optional if you have the space and resources to keep around... and I'd rather fill that space with breedable Characters

Can someone suggest a good place to setup a base to mess around with raids? I guess I'm looking for a location where raids tend to always come from the same side.
from what i experience, they only wont spawn on water.
even if you build base on cliff they will just spawn somewhere and get stuck.
if you dont care about aesthethic maybe just build base on sea with platform snap with each other.
tho maybe i could be wrong about that cause i installed the cheat thingy and player with no cheat couldnt do that.

Yeah I just want one for collection's sake. Also I keep multiple smaller bases built around themes, rather than a huge one with everything, so space isn't usually an issue. The corrupted goat and one of the 2 gorillas (the one with rock formations on his arms) are also pretty good fighters. I wanted to use skeletons as guards but their attack pattern is beyond useless against anything that fights back.

Yeah that's the conclusion I've reached as well. All in all the iron mine is still probably the best place to spam raids into, but I'm working on constructing "artificial" bases on the side.

I assume they meant the Balphant which, despite the name, is more of a bull. It's north of the nanachi trader in the desert, on a little stony oasis.
I mean he acts like an elephant though... staying near the corpses of his Partner and child protecting them from anyone dareing to come near them... even after turning skeleton.

Huh, fair, I hadn't thought that far, I just assumed it was supposed to be an elephant-sized bull xD

So apparently if anyone wants to move base right at the start of the game all you need to is

1. Start new game.
2. Gather enough resources to craft a bow and gather about 20-30 berries. (Suggest you kill a deer while you at it to make a red flag)
3. Craft and equip the bow.
4. Run straight to the Native Boss village. (Recommend you put the flag down outside village for future use).
5. Fight the boss.
6. Kill two of the male natives and pick up their axes.
7. Chop off their legs and pick them up.
8. Go grab the Meat bench workshop.

When fighting the boss whenever you get knocked down just go run into one of the Native houses and sleep to recover health and revival hearts. Rinse and repeat. So just backhand slap that the Native Boss like the little bitch he is until he dies. Note you can also use this method to save any kidnap villagers later on after raids.

20-30 berries should be enough hydration and sustenance for the duration of the fight.

The bow has infinite durability and gives 8 attack power. Which makes good as a wooden spear, and you don't to worry about it breaking during the fight. Don't worry about doing only 9 damage while the boss heals 10 hp per hump animation, he only goes into a healing cycle 3 times. So you don't have to worry about getting into a infinite boss regen cycle.

After beating the boss all the villagers inside the village are set to passive, so its easily to run around and murder them without resistance which makes it ideal to grab the 2 male right and left legs need to craft the meat workbench.

Then you can just teleport back to the starting point and move your other character to somewhere safe while you start building a base without having to worry about moving a whole ass starting camp.
