We got an update this month though? It was June 5th and at least when I posted this it’s June 28th.
I keep getting natives spawning inside of my base. Is there, like, any way to fix this? Is my base simply too big?

Define "big". Mine is 2,5x1,5 screens wide and no natives were found inside. Do you have walls around your base?

I am VERY curious about that and I was thinking that same thing also, since the dialog in the game changes depending on your choices and actions.
How does it play out if you are not with Reika or Giant? (I am with both). Does she just say you're not popular but still tries to get you to forget about Yona?
I suppose both Yona and Man are blank canvases that we, the player, project into but not entirely. I think both Man and Yona does have a distinct personality, regardless of what you make them choose. I could even go as far as to say hat the choices themselves ARE part of their personality.

I think I summed up Nami pretty well with what I said before. She is the combination of Keigo and Takumi, inside a tiny cute girl... murderous, coniving and a slimy pervert. Again... this is not a spoiler... look at how her glasses fog up when she is talking about being bunk buddies with Yona. NOWHERE ELSE do you see this look on her face again. Note however that they are Japanese and the Discord is primarily in Japanese as well.

See I don’t count that as personality as it’s player choice. Those are choices for the player to make. Gameplay reasons.
Take for example the game How to build a magnificent kingdom, you are given a choice of making all the girls virgins, sluts or have their own default experiences. If you pick default some of the non-virgin girls will still be virgins in their lover sex scene with the protagonist.
Very much so enjoying the game. Almost didn't download because of the mentioned gore and not-to-be-mentioned content, but glad I did since all that is avoidable and the gameplay is addictively enjoyable.
With 40+ ladies and 25ish men though, girl on girl action was making waaay too much noise in my ears whenever I was modifying my base and checking on stuff. Thankfully, it was easy to find where the related code was and modify it to only allow guy on girl action. Much less noisy now.
