i beat the bald guy use the flying thing and now he sits on the chair whit no arms and legs i got nothing feels like i shout be able to talk whit him but i cant reach him

u actually got some blueprint of his thing like the machine he has to cut his arms and legs. there is no notification about it. its craftable by talking to cassie. i forgot the other thing that he give because i rarely craft thing with cassie

People been using the pillars to make walls, insane builds + Steam workshop mods.
You can see how insane builds can get even without mods as you can make that walls now...however it is just insane to do.

Can npc use the beds at night even if it's deep in the house?
Also, could you explain again the step to manage to do that (if this is possible with a vanilla game)

Just discovered this game yesterday, what an absolute masterpiece. I was initially put off by the gore aspects but you can completely avoid it.
Can't wait for it to be complete!

Well even if they're not in a house, they would still find beds to sleep if there is one nearby their movement range
Unless of course you set them as "Guard" which they would not sleep or turn their Movement range to 0 and no Beds around them.

I love how everyone think guro plays a big part of the game when in reality not really a lot of people bother with the guro stuff, specially when they're highly optional.

Just place wooden platforms (or other platforms) on top of the stairs.
If you then want to place another, just hover on the corner of the other, it'll snap into place.

I just tried to put a wooden platform atop of a stair and it went poorly, how do you use it?

Open your Friend List and look for the bear in the green tab.
Favorite him and look for his star on the map.

Characters get lost sometimes, and you can't find them no matter what. They seem to be on a different level, not on the world plane or inside plane.

Click your Friends list, then click "Return" and all your characters will be brought back to their designated positions.

If found some in the "houses" map. It's a paralelle map. Some time they pop out a house in the void of the "map houses".

"it went poorly"... how? Just try to align it so the platform fits nicely.
Yes, building can be difficult, but it should work fine.
Remember as well, that with stairs, you can edit them to raise in height, or width to your liking - but I honestly can't really imagine anything with just "went poorly".

It means that, the woodern platform has so much restriction I can't fix it on top of the stair to create a floor, unless I am missing something

Ah, try to edit the stairs to be talller, longer, potentially wider (if desired) instead of two pairs of stairs (although possible)
You'd want a bigger surface area I reckon to fit the platform on there.
In the worst case, if you get it to place a neat platform and dislike the stairs still, you could then still replace the stairs and edit them to your liking - but it shouldn't be that difficult. (remember to have your cursor further to the back end of the stairs top "space" (not the step) to further shove the platform back)
To later on expand when you have the first platform set how you'd like it,if you then hover to the corners of the platform at times they'll snap in place correctly (other platforms, that is)

To edit stairs, ctrl+click them, or press E near them, and an "edit" button should appear, with which you can change witdh/length/height

But I guess I'll just share this last one for the Wild Professional modders lurking in F95Zone

Just today(2025/6/20), NPC modding has became a thing.
However it requires you to own Professional Spine which is very expensive & there is a learning curve to it

So...If you do own that program, now is your chance to mod the game with your own Modded NPC...

Again, Discord link on the Dev's website, same website where you find DLC.

I hope later there will be furniture that can be used to put buildings on water other than rafts and also hopefully later for various types of water furniture there will be slots to put fish, so there is no need to install a pool in water furniture like this..

Sometimes it's a bit annoying when you want to do an "insert" with Mermaid, you can't do it on a raft and have to be near deep water like a beach or a large lake near the gate to the corrupted area [you can do it on a raft if you put a flag on it and teleport on it while the mermaid is following]

So I made it like this by making luxury bed floating and installing glass stairs underneath it so when the "insert" starts the male character can walk automatically to the bed without being blocked by anything. I made this in a desert area near a large oasis.

Don't place the platform directly on top of the stairs, place it more like an extension, ie *behind* the top of the stairs, so that your character will climb up and move straight onto the platform. Then add more platforms *around* the stairs but leave an opening so that you don't have to walk through the floor like we see in your picture

Building with platforms takes a little bit of practice, but it's easy once you get the hang of it.
