There was a couple of important Discord additions so I thought I would update here for those who are curious about the progress. (Translated).

That first one of Ton's means we'll be able to play as Man and have Yona follow us, right? Right??

I assume you are referencing this part:

// Ability to summon followers and the idle protagonist.

Which would suggest the ability to summon npcs (as well as idle MC) similar to the blue flag, yet without it, rather than be able to have them follow.
Although it could possibly also mean when visiting a different safe, but I'm not sure on that either.

Did you just start a new game before?
Try saving to a slot, then exit to title, then load that save and try again!
(IIRC it requires you to have loaded a save prior to raiding or visiting other saves, as it jumps you back to that save (not actually where you start it) when exiting the raid/visit, though I didn't try it much so I mightbe wrong about some parts)

Man, I was also confused but here's what I did to uncensor the mosaic shader from the start:

• downloaded and unzipped Unity Asset Bundle Extractor (
  You must be registered to see the links
  )
• opened UABEAvalonia.exe
• File → Open → data.unity3d in "Mad Island\Mad Island_Data/data.unity3d" (remember to make a copy just incase)
• click Info button
• inspected each 'Material' type asset that may have anything to do with mosiac'd h-scenes via 'View Data' until I found this thing: View attachment 5628177
• took note of the shader asset's path id

• View → Go to asset → put in the path id and went through the file ids one by one for a shader type asset
  (it was in 'sharedassets0.assets)

• Tutorial said to dump it but I just 'Edit Data' and ctrl+F searched 'colmask' View attachment 5628175
  
  
• replaced all the 'float val = 15' s below each colmask with zeros as you can see already done
• Ok → File → Save → Ok (Assets Info window)
• again File → Save (UABEA window)
• check ingame if it worked or if it borked

Timer should appear on screen. Once it does, open your map with M, you should see a location encircled/marked, that's where you have to go to rescure her within the time frame.
Be sure to be ready for the fight - don't loose all your lives there. (If you're on the last one, go to bed and wait for 'em to refresh before fighting)
