On the bright side this ain't crisis point extinction fuckin "hey were doing this color and that color" dev is at the very least showing progress on ACTUAL CONTENT

Like Shmurfer says, something is abandonware IF you go a certain period of time without even so much as a Patreon (or ANY) update, and Maeve's Academy clearly does not fit that bill, at all. The dev is clearly communicating well on the platforms that'll make them money, and they have been so kind as to even respond to inquiries on here, even accounting for the particulars of this site. I can understand a little of the frustration, if it's just coming from a place of impatience, but this is ultimately a good game, well worth the wait, and with a dev who's more responsive than many I've seen in while.

cool, still 10 months and no game content update... im not hating on the game and what it currently is, but you have to see the similarities between this and many other games in the past

Two weeks ago a subscribestar update was posted. I'm not arguing anything about how they handle their discussions, just saying the game ain't abandoned.

No point to it, at all. The entire game, in its current state, is about an hour long, two tops, and there's as yet no secrets to discover. A "full save" will basically reveal nothing to you at this juncture. Just have some patience for now, for when the dev releases the next update, it'll be really good. What little I've seen of the cute characters and story has made me eager to see more, so I understand, but a "full save" is not useful right now.

I think they're going to get art later on, but it is kinda weird yes
