My money is that this will, sooner or later, be abandoned, as is the fate of most h games. Hopefully we get more good content like the last update until that happens.

No chance in hell, no offense Hatchet. Maybe we'll get another update, but complete game ain't happening until 2028 minimum if everyone is getting a comparable amount of depth as Elizabeth, and frankly there are too many fundamental things that keep changing every update. If they keep changing how characters are rendered and how the quest logs and hints are delivered it's gonna keep taking longer. I wouldn't be surprised if the individual character dialogue menus don't get overhauled before release.
