Gonna agree with Sock_puppet over there, you don't like the genre you're free to avoid it. AI gen is a tag just like incest, it's not something you're into, just avoid it
As far as this game goes, it's one of the games with the "better" generation, you can obviously tell it's AI and a lot of the animations could be redone for the better, but that takes a tremendous amount of time.
It's become a graphic genre. Finding, hiring, filming professionals to get high realism videos is obviously not an option, but if that's what you are asking, you can always look for the RealPorn tag (which in my opinion is worse)
Edit: And don't get me wrong, I'm against the current development of Gen-AI, but these few games aren't the real issue, meaningless comments on every AI tag games is not constructive criticism

The new script didn't work for me (Tampermonkey showed an error in line "const cursor = $('#planting-cursor'" it specifically says eslint: null - parsing error: unexpected token &)
but the original tampermonkey script worked great after I enabled "Allow access to file URLs". oh I also changed the (@ match(no space)) up the top of the script (commented section) to be the files url

Took something that was impossible to something I just had to mash the button when it got to green and button mashing is something I can do lol I put SLOW_FACTOR on 0.1 lol

I see it this way, game design, script writing coding and artwork are the four fundamentals of making games that get circulated in this circle. And those are very different skill sets that often require banding people of different expertise together for the project, and as a result those projects take long time to update and a lot of money to pay the crew.
I have seen way too many games of small teams or even individual developers ended up getting the abandoned tag. If generative engines is helping code monkeys actually completing what those artists could not I am all on board. Hell, those artists couldn't even finish a world war.

Used HTML games in MAC previously, but this time the image/sound files don't display or play during the game play in chrome. Am I an idiot, what am I missing? The files are in the same folder as the link, not sure if matters.

sorry still looking for help from smarter folks than me...any ideas/remedies?

But you do realize that there are LoRA models for DarkCookie's style, right? And that it is just as good as his original stuff? I mean, you wouldn't even notice. Hell, he might even use AI now. Also, AI provides an easy way to animate sex scenes way better than two or three interchanging images. (attached three examples, not selected because they are the best)

To set up good AI art requires a LOT of time and energy, too. I do agree that there's a lot of non-innovative shit here made with "default settings", because it's easy. But so is Illusion screenshots and in many cases, the devs are just as lazy there. The one computer-based way to be a bit creative is Daz, which is also a lot more advanced and provides 10x better outputs than anything else.

BTW I am co-creating a visual novel character creation suite, one of the things I do is quality checking and prompt improvement, among other things. It does character sheets (and exports sprites and emotions) for use up to 4K. It will also help train a lora for actual artwork generation(scenes etc.)
