Then I must have missed the only way in because I have not seen what you are talking about, I went back and forth all across the deep wilds and found 2 ledges, 1 with a cave, 1 of MC's holds and something that looks like a tower but with no way in.
With the walkthrough saying its in the west was wrong but I think I saw you posted that the walkthrough has been updated about this.
Well I started over and will look again once I get the level to make it through.
ADD: Finally found my way that was not correct in the walkthrough, you must jump down the western ledge and go down and slightly left but you must go way east then come back to that area where there is a bunch of trees.
Now for the love of porn games stop with the puzzles that make no since at all.
The 4 balls turning to red is great but the next puzzle has no correct answer that I can figure out.
Even reading the story 4 times then using the footnotes still can not figure out the combo. Sometimes I get to 5 and MC says nuts then 7 and he again says nuts and even 1 he says nuts.
The first clue says west and left hand which I take as this. But no MC says nuts several times but other times I can get to the 4 or 5 one and then he says nuts and then one says nuts then 3 says nuts.
Figured it out, please if you use something to start out the clues then keep using it for gods sake.
When you use [...] then keep using it other wise puzzle will confound some players and can make them quit playing.
Sorry for the frustration. If you have any suggestions about how to make the puzzles less obtuse, my ears are open. I'm a solo dev and I don't have any playtesters (but am accepting volunteers, if anyone reading this is interested), so some things can only go as far as "it makes sense to me."
Your read on the clue is correct, the puzzle just has a lot of steps that need to be followed exactly, and it resets completely if you miss anything.
The "[...]" notation is quotation syntax for omitted words. I originally wasn't going to use it at all, but then the "short" notated version of the clues was almost as long as the original story, and re-checking 8 text boxes for one line of text was a huge pain in playtesting. Using the notation and making it only 2 text boxes felt like the lesser evil. That's why the semi-colons are there. If you know of a better way to notate it without causing the same level of confusion, I am, as always, open to suggestions.
It looks like your the Dev of this game, I do like the game very much so far.
If so PM a Mod and ask for your Dev tags.
Yup, it me. I probably should.
I'm glad you like the game!
Any help on the mind maze? I know that you need to satisfy them dude i meant real help what to do
Nice, thanks. Sadly, it only works with the red flame. When I press escape on the blue flame, no further dialogue option appears and im just back in the maze. Any ideas?
Reminding you that there are hidden choices behind the cancel button is the closest to giving away the answer as I'm going to get.
If that doesn't help you,
a1fox3 is giving away all my secrets, so check their posts for the specifics.
I've already waited. We've already talked about the plan to sex Odette into nirvana and they even talked about using the homing stone to get back while the redhead distracts oddete outside of her room. Now I'm just walking up to every square and trying to use the homing stone but it always says "I can't teleport right now"
Sorry for the trouble.
I hate defaulting to it as a reason, but I playtested that section of the game to hell and back to make sure the exact problem you're experiencing wouldn't happen. I double checked the scripting just to do my due diligence, and the only thing I can think of is that moving things around somehow affected a switch you didn't mean to flip or scripting that was supposed to unlock that lock somehow got skipped. The best I can recommend is to not cheat. =P
It's a really easy thing to manually fix though. Save is attached, I left you exactly where you left off, the Homing Stone works now.
