Not a dumb question - just the terminology is a bit confusing.
Pre-patched - means the crack is installed, or adult patch is applied.
All you need to do is download from any of the hosts in the (WIN: ) section and the bugfix.
*All WIN hosts are the same file - just different links to download from.
Just extract and add the bugfix and your good to go - no need to install the game.
Ps. Welcome to the site

Go to the - Crack folder - and run alsignup_101029b.exe - Once.
This will pop up - hit OK
Then run まじこいＳ.exe to start the game.
If running まじこいＳ.exe gives you any errors - restart your computer - and it will run next time.
Use - StartUpTool.exe - set this.
Also these setting help as well.
Finally - you need to install the update correctly.
The file inside is - Update2.pac - cut that - and move to the game's main folder - and replace when asked.
You can delete that folder after.
Please tell me if this fixed your issues.

i guess you should have japanese locale and those stuff done. now then what av or similar program do you use? have you tested the crack program? most peoples problem usually is the crack. if you find my test for example you can try it. since the crack is in it. after you checked it and see it works or is even in the folder then try to follow twisty instructions above. personally only needed to do the crack once and the patch and i was done and it worked,
just to be sure the crack is in the folder "crack" or first. if that is gone then that's basically the av problem or similar program.

you sure the av arent blocking something? otherwise what version of windows and update are you using? maybe whitelist the game?
if you have windows 10 then you probably need emulate locale

mh ty man that worked. tho i dont know why my locale emulator keeps getting deleted
that's weird.. but atleast you know what's wrong
i found in the thread that someone said you needed the emulator for win 10
I ran into a problem during kazuko's route where the game crashes after Yamato says "You did it again." I tried several times with trying diffrent things skip tekst, turn voices of. anyone else have this problem?
you aplied the bugfix? different save? or like trying a whole new game fast forwarding?
I tried the diffrent save. I will try the new game in a bit and if that doesn't work i will reinstal. Thanks in advance
I can't make this game run on my PC.
Windows 7, exe simply won't even start.
1- Japanese locale --> ok
2- Double Click on crack --> I get a error window about a AlphaDiskLog.txt
3- Double Click on まじこいＳ.exe --> Nothing happens. Not even a error message nor a black windows. Nothing happens.
I tryed restarting the pc, i tryed opening まじこいＳ.exe with AlphaROMdiE.exe ... nothing happens.
Can someone help me?

this should fix the problem for most folk. I don't get update2.Pac but again game started fine.
