For those trying to run the game on an Android phone, Kirikiroid2 won't run the game properly, directly reporting an error due to compatibility issues.
If your Android phone is powerful enough, you can use a Wine-based emulator to simulate a Windows environment.
We recommend using winlator-mod.
The currently recommended version is 9.0 Amod. While it has some rendering glitches, it significantly improves the game's frame rate. Other versions that render perfectly will suffer from resource consumption, causing frame rates to plummet, making the 3D maze area difficult to play.
Of course, it can also play other Windows games; with proper settings, most games should run.

Tested this by editing the drop and monster csv. Added the names on the last table and then changed the red skeletons drops to only table 15 since its easy to fight them by going to the first door of the Ancient labyrinth.

Can you please provide the files you modified, or write a guide on which files to edit and which words to add?

Cheating in DnB:

1. Holding CTRL in an INN will provide endless actions.

2. Cheat Engine can be used to find, freeze, alter most variables, including: character points (zero it before going next step), x and y coordinates on a map (effectively it is a warp spell - beware not to skip story blockers!), lust,current HP, max HP and other attributes if changed, penis size if changed.

Cheat Engine can be used to SPEED HACK - VERY, VERY USEFUL. The game is IMHO too slow. x3 seems OK. It is not a cheat, because everything in the game is speed up, not only e.g. MC. You can speed up most games that way, just DO NOT USE FOR MULTIPLAYER games. But e.g. Witcher 2? No problem!

It's recommended to download the version from a network drive, as these are usually larger. You only need to download the APK for the specific version.
For example, I recommend downloading version 9.0 Amod3, which is 715MB. I'm currently using this version, and it has a relatively high frame rate with no audio issues. The downside is that it can have some texture issues when rendering the game.
After installation, when creating a new container, it's recommended to adjust the video settings, such as resolution, frame rate, and drive path.
For virtual keys, after entering the emulator, press the Return key to bring up the menu. There, you'll find the Virtual Keys option, where you can choose from two default keyboard templates or create your own.
The one I used was customized to my preferences, but I've used some Chinese text, so it may not work for you.
If you don't mind, I'll share it with you in English. Remember to unzip it. The left and right mouse buttons and the Enter key icon automatically activate a long press upon tapping, making them suitable for things like dragging equipment. All other text-labeled buttons, including the left and right mouse buttons, function normally, interacting with your press and release. However, due to key range limitations, I haven't set up a dedicated mouse auto zone; you can simply move the mouse in the blank areas.
If you don't like this layout, you can modify it to better suit your usage habits.

The guide says sleep in different inns when theres nothing happening in the main city, but ive been to brave/seagull/north city with no further dialogue and the item im supposed to buy from the vendor isnt there either.

do i need to play a lot further into the quest lines to do that or am i just stoopid?

To just have a monster drop from a certain drop table
1. Extract monster.csv and drop.csv (I used GARbro)
2. Edit the monster easiest to encounter to have the game access only one drop table in the monster.csv (the drop tab)
3. Repackage the files into a patch file as the latest patch .( ex. patch3.xp3 if you already have patch and patch2)

To have the monster drop a certain item, can be used to get items hard to come or arent normally dropped by like the pheromone or mens medicine.
1. Same as the other 1 but also extract item.tsv
2. Same as the other 2 but edit one of the mostly empty tables in the drop.csv with the item you want from the item.tsv( I used table 15 since it only contains phoenix feathers, list the item multiple times for a greater drop chance, copy and paste in japanese)
3. Same as the last 3

To teleport using cheat engine, look up the two values when you pull up the map. After finding the values just enter the values of the spot you want to teleport to.

Since plenty of people been asking, I post a simple guide to the sewer area.
You will need the "Magic floating bridge" and the "Magic Boat" spell to fully explore the area.

Sewer map:

1. Secret entry from item vault
2. Entry from city
3. Entry from Yanek Forest
4. Button to open up the portcullis (N11, E14)
5. Button to open the sluice gate. Need "magic boat" spell to access it. Make sure you can cast it twice or you will get stuck.
6. Location for Magic Ladder item.

EDIT: The only thing I havent figure out is how to access the chest in the middle of the map (N12, E24)

Tips:
1. You can check if theres still unexplored/hidden areas by looking at the map completion rate (lower right)
2. With the floating plank+jump, you access a few hidden areas. Eg: area at the harpy cliff (jump from there to access the forest under it)

To do 100% Sewer Map, there are invisible wall in N4 E32
It is easy to miss without using Magic Map

Ok, since people don't read guides, here's a FAQ in case you somehow manage to find this and not the guide I've written...
Full Story Guide

The questions are sequential in progression, if you're looking at question 3, you should have 2 done by then

1. I'm stuck after clearing "Protect the Temple of Polaris"!
Buy the spell "Leap" from the magic shop that opened in the city, use it to jump back across the broken bridge leading back to Seagull Village. (the village you passed by during the intro) Accept the missing village girls quest.

2. How do I go underwater?
Do you have the water bracelet yet? no? Make sure you have the spell "Levitate" from Northrop Village and head to the King's Tomb (Go south of Brave Village, then East to Talha Desert). Use the spell to float over the collapsing floor and go straight through the bridge and go down the stairs at the end to go to B2, there will be a chest there with the water bracelet.
Take the water bracelet with you to the Water Temple (the dungeon immediately south when you head out of Seagull Village's east gate). You will need to farm swim wear from the Water Temple and you will need at least 2 valid items for each character. Men will need necklace and cone shell while girls will need Bra (or necklace also works) and Panties. If you equip 2 valid gear to the character, there will be a fish icon showing that they can now go underwater. EVERYONE IN YOUR PARTY MUST HAVE THE FISH ICON. Guests will bring their own swim wear as long as everyone in your party is valid, don't worry about it. If you did it correctly, your party will automatically dive down the water if you move towards a valid diveable block of water (the floating bridge will act first so you either have to "Leap" into the water or fall off the floating bridge by walking off it again)

3. How do I get the Power Bracelet?
Accept the "Spiritual Stone" quest, make sure you can go underwater (see 2.) and do the swamp ruins.

4. How do I get Magic Boat?
Do you have the underground city key? no? Make sure you have the Power Bracelet (see 3.) and go to the cave in the beach south of Brave Village. The barbarian camp there has blocks that need to be moved by the Power Bracelet. One of them will open a room to a girl you save who will give you the key.
Go look for a path leading below B3 in the cave where you got the underground city key. There will be a locked door that leads to the underground city. Do the "Ancient Treasury Quest" and the magic shop will open after clearing it. It will be there in the magic shop.

5. How do I get the Magic Ladder?
Do you have the Magic Boat? (See 4.). Go back to Sapphire City's sewers and use magic boat to sail along the entire sewers and make your way to (6,12) and press the button there to flood the rest of the sewer, allowing you to cross the waterway and obtain the magic ladder at (12,0)

6. How do I cross the anti-magic collapsing bridge?
Don't worry about it until you at least get married. Go to Mountain of God, it should be accessible by now if you're married. The angels there drop gear which allow you to levitate without needing the spell
