I'll try to summarize my thoughts.
There's a lot of potential with his engine and I wish he continues to dabble with it in the upcoming years to refine this game. Here's some improvements that would be great for the game imo.
----------------
Story mode is fine. I don't mind if the general parts of the story doesn't change. Even the unavoidable NTR event. Instead, make use of the new game plus to rewrite a new story (avoidable NTR) that adds onto the game. Just make it easy for new players to access it without playing the main story.
Start the game with a vague question like.. "Do you remember what happen..?"
- If you answer no, it just skips to the point where you're about to leave Bravetown. (QoL for people who keep restarting)
- If you answer yes, have it where MC vaguely remembers that he traveled back to the past after activating his powers against murmur during the first fight when he falls into the pit with Max.
With it, plot points will drastically change.. MC would get precognition on when bad events might happen so you can choose to avoid them or not. Your MC will become more active in romance now and will be willing to engage with multiple girls if you choose to. This can open the door to targeting girls on Blue's side. The ending we came from in the original game could be subtly hinted at, based on your actions during gameplay.
Since we defeated Blue early to dodge the NTR event, a new antagonist will emerge to fill up the space for a threat. Later events might reveal that MC isn’t the only one who’s been transported to this timeline. Azure will appear here from a different timeline to cause havoc. I'll have to replay the story post Blue fight to understand it better now that the translation is complete to really hash my thoughts past this point.
We need at least one unique NPC for each race a playable character in the story too. Hopefully that's in the pipeline. Maria is the easiest add-on.

Free Mode should be rehauled into a sort of gauntlet/mini roguelike mode. It can be it's own contained mini story too. The Demon Lord has been slain, but its destruction came at a cost. The guild alliance has been fractured and many guild members have perished. The surviving members started creating their own guilds to rebuild. You start out with a static guild member crew with the basic classes but a randomized unique female npc every new game.
Bravetown will become the hub of the game and will be expanded. Shops will refill with randomized items after every quest and there will be a new seemingly endless new dungeon that will appear here. It will be the main story quest for the mode with 100 levels.
We can have side quests for our members through the guild that will allow us to meet and recruit new npcs to add to our party. The side quests can range from delivering messages to other towns, guard caravans, rescue civilians, defeat bandits, etc. We cannot create any new members with customization, but all female NPCs are recruitable. The author can easily pull a bunch of unique sprites from his old games and use them in this mode as unique NPC characters. He can just do generic H events for them or reuse a bit of their old ones.
Certain Male NPCs like Max will appear in this mode as temporary allies during quests if you meet them. Depending on their disposition, they may target your guild members. We can add more hotel mechanics in this mode. Use two floors for the hotel stay, but add more male npcs in the lodging to heighten the danger.
Guild/Team battles are more pronounced in this game and opposing guilds are more aggressive. They will always have a unique male NPC (they can even reuse old characters here) as the leader and at least one unique female NPC in the party that you can recruit if you win.
As the story progresses, we can slowly hint that this world is the one Azure (for the new game plus idea i had) belonged to before he made it into yours.

For minor QoL, it would be great if more equipment was usable across all classes. To balance this, characters will receive a debuff like if a mage decides to wield a greatsword or something to save storage space. (Please make consumables stack)
To make reclassing more viable, there should be more special powers added to let us reclass into more varied classes. The only one that's good (aside from saving stats) right now is Druid into Monk for Spells.
For customization, introducing an item like hair dye or hair comb would give us more hair customization. All it does is change your hair color or style for your regular sprite. For Event scenes, it will just use their natural color/style.
I agree with most points made about alignment affecting H scenes. Would be nice if it did more like maybe passively influencing your allies into your alignment too.
