Man, I genuinely wish MC has persistent skills on class change. Cuz losing Counter is so fucking big and not a good thing. I bit the bullet and changed from Fighter to Lord on this playthrough and deeply regret it, cuz I don't think Lord gets Counter, unless it's very late level.

Yeah, it sucks, it would be better if skills remained just like spells, maybe have limited amount of active skill slots to pick the most needed if character gets too much of them in total. But that one skill is unique to a character at all, and if it actually matters in a playthrough and not just a visual thing...

Indeed, outside of the default class progression (using a certain sword), I don't think it a good idea to change class mid game. Such a shame when the game have this class change function.

It was obvious class change feature is unpolished when you'd spend 30 minutes rolling for perfect waifu only to have her stats reset to default on class change.

real talk, auto-saves are unnecessary in this game, and more likely to break stuff anyway. just save like a madman, cover ur bases.
imo auto-saves are a band-aid fix for when a game has inconsistent crashes and you don't want to frustrate your players by having them keep losing 30 mins of progress due to crashes that are hard to troubleshoot.

tbf that's basically Wizardry at it's worst, and this game is essentially Wizardry+, with some of the best and worst features from it, like class progression. On the bright side, you can game it to get a class you want from something else entirely, like leveling a few stats until you meet the requirements for Assassin and then change over, and your new minimum stats at level 1 are what the Assassin's is.

can you branch the story and ignore the need of inviting Blue to the party at all for example?
Before summoning Polaris, and the troll invasion, no. Prior to that it's actually important and useful and the MC loses it via story event anyway. After the latter event, it makes sense in hindsight and game-wise to ignore blue or kill him even but not so much if you're geninuely paranoid.

He dies to the death breath eventually even with the power, so it's a moot point in the final act.

Friends, I found a bug in the game, where to contact the developer to fix it, or maybe you have a solution. All my girls are virgins, when I spend the night in Sapphire City, Gnome comes to me with her personal quest (to save her village), the next morning after the conversation she is no longer a virgin with 5 lovers. I tried it on both version 15 and 12.
It's not a bug. She's basically telling you how she was raped prior to meeting you. If you want to avoid getting retroactively cucked you had to jump off the cliff during the prologue (before getting to sapphire city for the first time) and deal with the enemies near the gnome cave. I wish I were making this shit up.

Does it change her personality into less quiet since she supposedly didn't undergo traumatic experience?

Why dev decided to lock out inn scenes in "free mode"? I wanted to try game just for in scenes without unavoidable ntr... That was such a dumb decision.

Come to think of it did n't noticed if it had some flavor text to tie this battle with the gnome at all.. Getting spoiled this answer by the dev is more like fixing a mistake rather than a feature XD

I had the same thing. She probably disclosed she was banged earlier - I don't know, because I did not read her shit, since I was not interested in her. But yes, what other players think and saw? Was it normal?
From what I've read here, this event can be changed by going down the ravine during the prologue when you've meet the old guy.

Having counter or not depends on the class you change to... It is the same idea if you change class in FF and you have to learn the new class' skills from job level 1 onward. Using item to change class simply bypass the stat and level reset.

The benefit of class change is so you don't start with low HP. You also get to keep your MP and spells, the rest (stats and skill) can be make up for with level... provided that your new class have your desired skills.

You can accelerate the level up process with those silver coins and 5/10-consecutive-stay tickets. It is the reason why you are given those tickets when you change class normally.

Hmmm, as i read here before, story-wise you need Blue back in the party because MC seems like maybe loses? his special ability, that protects from that Fatal Breath, and i guess there it is. The thing is - i tried to change MC's class(either through guild or through Thief dagger to Assassin) - and MC loses this skill on a class change. I wonder if that's why he loses it or it's scripted later on anyway, but if you don't change a class, and MC still has that skill till the end - can you branch the story and ignore the need of inviting Blue to the party at all for example? View attachment 5128594
MC loses this ability even if you do not change class, for story reason.

MC has counter at the start, even if he is a class that normally doesnt have it. However if you change class you lose this "counter no matter the class" bonus.

Is there a stat cap at 99, or does it go higher?
E.g. Agility is already at 99, and I see it goes up during level up... but the stat is stuck showing 99.

Also for the in-game trophy:
Does that means we cannot use hyper bomb on walls?
And for all monster types, is Sylph's dragon included in that list?

Sure thing is that skills are far more than what the jpn tables suggested in wikii. some jobs though have awesome skills for new playstyles like lord has the "banish undead" skill that can save you from having to use holy weapons or magic only against incorporial enemies likie phantoms.

BTW pls do take the request from CobraPL into consideration andremove questioning posts from the other thread. It's a thread for finiding answers a bit faster rather than this chaos and repeated questioning from the many pages here XD

EDIT: you already did while i was typing so pardon me ^^

Yeah, also i haven't checked stuff like those barrels that increase max HP, will that bonus be kept after the class change or not, but as for other stats increased through potions and such - once you change class in the guild all additional benefits are lost...
