It looks like I have to reinstall to get the update to work/install (it just says "Update not installed - There was an error"), but I also don't want to lose my save data

First post on patreon goes back to Oct. 2022, so since then (3 years).
We just hit the end of the current roadmap, so it's hard to say when it's planned to be finished, but they are actively working on it and release every few months.

I think it's good that the devs are actively working on it, I don't really like playing games that are not done, I used to do that but when the games eventually finish I don't revisit them, let's hope it doesn't take too long for the final version to be released.

Open Door Policy: Did Willow agree? If so, go back and talk to the security guard. If not, then you are either missing Charm/Charisma or you need to talk to someone who knows Willow for advice on how to approach her.

Wire Trip: After you spill water on her and she leaves, click on the computer she was using and watch the VTuber again.

Just wanted to congratulate the dev if they read here. This is probably up there as one of the best adult games I've played, even in this early state. The art style is absolutely gorgeous, and I want to give special mention for not making every female a 42DDD sex doll, it's refreshing to see some actually vaguely female-shaped characters for once. I also like the humour in a lot of things too!

Only thing I'll say as a negative, is that there's a few options to soft-lock yourself, a few incorrectly linked datasets and the hints can be wildly vague sometimes. But even with that, this was absolutely brilliant!

you can open the door next to her, changes her from a shop to an interactable character

do you have the minimap unlocked? you can use that to get to some other location from anywhere
afaik this is the only way to get out of those stairs if you enter the area too early

on the plus side i found you can reload an auto save to avoid losing much progress
