Games haven't always had quest markers and great big signs denoting "HERE I AM" floating around to hold your hand. Some people want you to think about what you're doing, even in some small way.

Morrowind is a prime example of having to think about what you're doing. a AAA game, albeit old, that in no way, shape, or form held your hand. No quest markers, no big signs saying "OVER HERE STUPID". You read the dialogue, you payed attention, then you went hunting for the location.

One of the funnest games I ever played truth be told. MOst games now days are dumbed down to the point of being pointless just to appease the console crowds and millenials that can't be bothered to do anything more than smash buttons.

In Morrowind...When you got quest, for example "go to Balmora and find that person he can be here or there"...You know you need to go to Balmora and you have a map on which you can see where Balmora is located(don't need to spend hours roaming around world, looking for Balmora), and than you have another map of Balmora city where you can find "here and there" locations. In this game - Go to Trading city and find pizza place. No fuckin clue where Trading city or pizza places are. So at least, dev should provide map which have marked parts of city with their names and most famous places. And yes, it is possible thing to do with PRGMaker (some games have maps accessible through inventory or certain place in town) .

Final Fantasy never had any location markers and left you sometimes clueless. It even had no quest log. But I don´t know anyone who complains about it. Seems RPGs can be good without any markers.

Is it me or has this game became almost impossible to do fights more so than it was earlier? I lost my saves from .03 so had to start over and with the cafe fight I spent ten tries to defeat the three gang members and they either stunned mc repeatedly and defeated me before I even got one down or they hit three times harder than I do or they dodge every attack. It would not be bad but it sucks that I can not save just before the fight after twenty tries I have given up for now as it seems the RPGM numbers are not in my favor this day...

You can rant all you want, the fact is, you need to enjoy the game the way the developer intended it to be, and if you don't, you need to stop complaining and move on. If the game in your eyes is bad because they didn't shove a circle in your face telling you where to go, then I'm sorry, it's time to let go of mom's guiding hands.

That's called constructive criticism not ranting, and it's purpose is to try to appeal on bad things in order to make them better. People can act like a mindless invertebrates and accept all shit throwed at them because "those shits are intended to be that way" or people can try and change those bad things into something better. This game is (in it's current state) - bad. Very bad. So yeah, some constructive criticism can only make this game better assuming that developer is person opened to good sugestions and not some egoist who thinks that he's on his best and everything is perfect.

Personally I wouldn't call the first quote constructive criticism, as it contains both insults and swearing, but maybe other people would consider it as constructive. I believe constructive criticism generally politely points out a potential deficiency and if possible offers one or more solutions on how to rectify/over-come it.
