VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Man's Best Friend [Ep. 1 Full] [AdultKing]

Odd game. Mostly very good, and may please beast fans greatly. Bestiality is a very specific niche, and MBF specifies further by focusing solely on canines (not that I was looking for anything else, but y'know, some guy's out there slamming his fist into his desk right now screaming, "But what about the HORSES!").

PRO- GRAPHICS & CONTENT:

The renders are nice, and get better as you progress. For a V0.03, there's a mountain of content in this, and I'm not using that word lightly, so I'll say it again for emphasis. Given how early this is in the development cycle, there is already a mountain of content in this game. There are multiple erotic scenes with all three main heroines, including one route that already goes from the beginning stages of 'tee-hee, the dog's sniffing my crotch', through the uncertain stage of 'but I can't blow Rex, he's my dog!' all the way to deep-dick knotting several times. There are also sex scenes with various neighbors, family friends, a jogger, the vet, a burglar, yoga-girls and several dream sequences with even MORE girls (and a celebrity guest appearance).

There's doggie bj's, hand-jammies, clam-licking, rim-jobs, cummy-sucking, human-on-dog makeouts, dog-on-human foreplay, dry-humping, dog/human hybrid pregancy, anal-knotting, vaginal-knotting and an all-out doggie neighborhood watch gangbang complete with coercion-by-threat-of-violence and eventual enthusiastic acceptance. THIS IS A V0.03. FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, LIGHT OF MY LIFE, CAN WE AT LEAST GET A FATHER/DAUGHTER HANDJOB NOW?!

MEH- STORY:

Ahem... It's not even wall-to-wall sex. Many of these scenes have a decent amount of sexual tension and build-up. There's a kind-of, sort-of, maybe coherent storyline running through the game, but it's pretty just in service to the girl/dog scenes. This isn't the Citizen Kane of blowing the family dog games, but you'll at least understand 90% of what's happening.

CONS- ILLICIT THRILLS AND GAME DESIGN:

Personally, I don't really feel like the game relishes the taboo nature of its fetish enough. Certainly, every female human realizes their considering having sex with a dog, and most experience at least a brief amount of hesitation before-hand, and there's a fair use of the word 'bitch', which is nice in this context. But the taboo just doesn't feel sharp or lived-in for me in their dialogue or thoughts. For comparison, in incest it's the difference between "I'm fucking my dad," and "I'm fucking the dick that made me." One is far more taboo than the other, and Man's Best Friend sticks firmly on the safer path. Expecting realism in taboo from a game where the dogs have actual dialogue, however, might be my problem, not the dev's.

Also, be forewarned, there really isn't much choice here. No narrative branching yet. You'll mostly just follow various threads to their conclusions, like side-quests and main missions in an RPG. There are a couple of choices early on, but these stop pretty quickly as the narrative settles into gear.

Which brings me to the last reason for why this isn't a five-star yet in my book. A good chunk of the game starts off as a visual novel (again, with only a couple choices), and the VN style goes on long enough that it's genuinely shocking when the game sets you loose in the dreaded sandbox style. Thankfully, there's a checklist screen, which tells you what (or who) Rex wants to do next, and will either hint at or outright tell you which room or area you need to go to next in order to progress the story. It's not that big of a deal, but the whole VN-to-Sandbox change feels a little cheap, like it wasn't planned out beforehand but switched to mid-devolpment. However, this might change when all is said and done, as that initial VN section might just wind up feeling like a long prologue if the game's length keeps expanding like it seems to.

CONCLUSION:

Bestial entertainment for discerning degenerates; have dog will swallow. Many, many pretty girls get the doggy d, the game's renders are swell and the only thing I'm left to nitpick about is some of the design choices and that I don't think it's dirty enough for what it is.

So far, thumbs up. Please neuter your pets before they impregnate your wives and daughters.

Overall this is a great concept well done, would like more muscle girls/bigger tits/ass, otherwise perfect!

I really like the inner thoughts, also the idea of a harem is awesome, I really like the man of the house analogy as well.

This game is fucking amazing. There are a bunch of hot girls, and sex scenes (i hope to see more group sex, but only with Rex and the womans). Also, there are almost no games like this in this site, so i hope many people likes the idea and make more of this content. Plus, the story also isn't half bad.

That put, there are some things i disliked:
- The developer tryied to make other dogs like Rex what, IMO, makes it seems like all the dogs are like the MC (that sould be more of a special kind than them). Also, i dislike the group sex or sharing with other dogs and altough there are the option to avoid it, it isn't entirely avoidable in the dialogs;
- The dreams that Rex has it's, IMO, almost a waste of renders. They have no impact in the story and doesn't make players feel some immersion in the story because they are too unrealistc. That put, i would like to see the dev using renders more wisely to create more content for the story. But that's only my opinion;
- Many games changed to the Global mode (exploring the scenarios and having more interactions with the locations) and went wrong because players went missing when doing missions, so i hope dev, if keeps the missions very easy to be done, without boring griding or dificulties to explore the map.

> I hope that the dev don't make the game with excessive griding that only makes it boring and don't put significante decisions to be mades in the game (because if you play in one or another route you'll see half to none of the content in the other route, unless you go back to the save only for this purporse - also if made it wrongly, it would be needed a walktrough). THE SIMPLIER THE GAME, THE BEST, because we only need the renders/content anyway.

OVERALL:
This is a must play for those who like bestiality and i hope that many more people gets inspired with it. I'm eager for more content.

Personally I like how Rex acts like a Dog witha human mind, because it he acted like a real life Dog then this wouldn`t be that appealing to actual humans playing it.

The models are great, the dialogue is funny and no grind or boring bits

p.s. 1 star down for ocassional mistakes in posing, story inconsistencies, and the sudden change of Rex's race. But other than that, I like to see bizzare things, things I wouldn't come up with myself, so this was really fun.

From the beginning he reveals a marked character full of sexual impulses, but he satiates them too soon (but this is a matter of taste). The sex scenes are too easy and I miss more resistance from the female leads,
perhaps I would base them on fortuitous encounters and not so much on thoughtful decisions at least at first (but this opinion is also a matter of taste).

Otherwise it is quite interesting and has details that are missed in many other games.

Definitely, I think it is a good game with good possibilities that I hope will come closer to reality in future updates and not so much to libidinous fantasies typical of most games and scenes of bestiality.

Excellent game. Would like to see the knot actually sliding in, but i really like it.
In the beginning I thought it might be a little boring, but I was pleasantly surprised. Especially by the cheekiness of the doggy.

Considering the content this feels pretty solid so far. I wish there was more choices as it gets kind of bothersome going straight for objectives at this point, but it looks like as you go you will get more options.

Good! However the story is somewhat confusing, Rex is going to focus on the young one and end up knotting the older sister. All of a sudden Rex is at a friends hidden place where he drags a woman, how is that even possible? I know it's just a story but that's not remotely believable.

Absolutely fantastic game, we need more games like this. I found the amount of content overwhelming for a 0.2 release, so can't wait to see what the full version looks like. It's nice to see the game provides you with choices from time to time, albeit not very often, but I cannot say I'm not amused since the scenes are really great. One of them even had sleep molestation, which is one of my favorite kinks. The renders themselves are high quality, however I do feel like the scenes need more action, the sexual acts don't last as long as I would like them to. More poses and cumshots would really help. Keep up the good work!

Okay so I hear what you are saying. Bestiality? Really?, I know I know, I thought the exact same thing. But here is the catch, it is actually pretty decent.

Although it is only on v0.2 it already has a decent amount of concent compared to other games early in development.

It has some funny moments with the other dogs (if you go for the "ntr" scenes, I qoute ntr because it is just another dog).

The renders are pretty decent as well, the only issue is that the main dog that you play suddenly gets an updated model halfway through so those first images need to be re-rendered.

User Interface leaves a lot to be desired but that holds true for most titles on here, there luckily is a handy notepad that shows you exactly what to do so you will never get stuck.

All in all, pretty decent and looking forward to future updates.

• The MC comes across as a (hu)man with horny thoughts rather than a dog (making his thoughts toggleable doesn't really help).
• The girls also treat him like a human - people tend to do this in real life, but I never heard anyone saying stuff like: "I just wanted to apologize to you for the way I've been acting, it hasn't been fair to you, and I was hoping we could hang out now, too. What uh what do you think?"
• At one point the MC turns from a Dobermann into a German Shepherd because... reasons.
• The writing (dialogue & story) is often cheesy / cringy / nonsensical and lacking subtlety - every girl seems to be like: "I need a cock in my life." *looks at doggy's cock* "I need a dog in my life."
• Half-baked free roam & quest log in a kinetic novel (there aren't any - meaningful - choices yet) - just... why?
• The vet doc walking around the clinic virtually naked without anyone bothering.
• Breaking the 4th wall.
• A few typos

It's too bad - this could be a great bestiality themed VN.
I hope this concept gets picked up and improved by

• making the dog MC act (and getting treated) more like a real dog (not a humanised one),
• making the girls act more realistic (= reluctant),
• emphasising on the "forbidden factor",
• coming up with a coherent, plausible story and
• cutting the annoying & pointless free roam / quest log crap.

Well, its somehow interesting that MC is the dog, gives you different perspective, BUT the story is the weak spot here. I know that such bestiality oriented games are a rare stuff, still you expect more in terms of storytelling especially with pretty nice renders. Would be so much better if the girls weren`t so horny for a dog because of seeing its dick; really, it might be only my preference, but what makes the game interesting is a proper answer to a `WHY` question: Why a girl (i mean any generic character in game) ended thinking of a dog as a mate? why all of sudden the girl, that`s a virgin (was it Zoe in game?) thinks of a dog as a first partner and feels guilty for not being able to give the dog what it wants? why getting licked by a dog turns the character on but not pisses her off, like wtf its a dog and it might be disgusting without any `preparation`?

Doing a some kind research (ah, the things we do for the sake of science) i found out that there is enough 3D bestiality artists who are doing small stories or just set of images where the story is just a formality and the idea is to show an action - in such cases you are not even think that some kind of story is necessary, you got what you wanted - bestiality (drawn or rendered, whatever); i had the feeling that this game is almost look like a compilation of images with a weak storydrive and small player impact on the development, except being a horny dog with a dick; you might tell that it`s exactly what the dogs are but we have MC as dog that shows us a thought process and has a pretty firm target - to own every girl and make them pregnant, which impose certain responsibilities on the author.

Why am I telling all this - because tbh bestiality is NOT what i`m interested in a first place, but this game where MC is a dog with intelligence makes it different and opens a lot of possibilities to a story development (which can make it unique and interesting even for those who are not into bestiality stuff that much). Definitely it will take more updates to reach sexual content if to be me story and relationships focused, but you already have some tools to make a player interested even without a main course - the dreams is one of those, its very often used in games where you cannot reach the targeted character so fast and you have to provide a player with at least something; and here you did well - adding a Clara Roft as a dream character.

I clearly understand that this the first game of this particular dev but I wouldn`t bother to write all this wall of text if this project wouldn`t be worth it. The relationship system is key point here and also a quest system which helps MC to generate certain events that can turn into its favor later or provide a proper ground for further interactions with different characters, as example - you`ve started well at the very beginning with a possible choice for a dog - to lick the girl`s face or pussy, yes the choice is obvious and simple but gives a player clear idea that you need to be more creative to get in those panties.

This review is for version 0.1 which basically is a demo. There are no paths to select nor options which choose. Just one chapter with a story.

So you are a dog and you want to bang your owners. Honestly this either will work really well or fail horribly, we shall see. Apart from this there isnt much to review, so a few pros and cons now:

very disappointing of what could have been an example to follow for bestiality porn games, the developer has a chance to create a trend for this type of fetish. it is a great concept, playing the role of a dog an persuing cute horny girls. there is a lot of potential to create something memorable.
