VN - Ren'Py - Maou-Sama [Week 4 v0.3] [Neko-Hime]

Some of the art is hot and this VN certainly pulls out all the stops in terms of taboo tags , if you're into those, but the title suffers from so many problems that I found it more or less unplayable.

The story is utterly confusing, if not nonsensical. And there are so many characters that at a certain point I had no idea who anybody was. It doesn't help that the VN introduces time travel and other fantastical elements that allow even the MC to inhabit different bodies at different points in the game. Thanks to time travel and all the incest, some characters are their own parents or some such nonsense.

At a certain point I found myself skipping over all the dialogue just to get to the lewd scenes, but then the lewd scenes just aren't good enough to make that a worthwhile tradeoff. The MC's member is extraordinarily large that intercourse is more akin to harpooning than any erotic endeavor.

I hate giving this negative review because it's clear that Neko-Hime, the developer, has put a lot of work into this. On top of that, this VN contains many tags that I really enjoy. But I guess I'm old enough (and there are enough other better options out there) that this just isn't worth my time.

A great game buried under a shit ton of trash characters - Is what this game is.. How ridiculous the characters are, can be pretty much summed up by characters like Sun, Sunny, Koko, Cocola, Coconut, Kira, Keira, Lisa, Liza, rachel, Raquel and OMFG Trax, Trix, Trixy & Trux.. It's like the Dev lost some brain cells while naming characters. Even a Hollywood movie wont have these many characters..Pretty much makes me remember the meme

You would literally have to sit with a jotting pad to make notes of which character is who, because when the game tells you to visit Brooke & Patty , you'd be like Who TF are they..
The story in itself is quite interesting, with the MC being a time travel fucker.. So your mom, she's actually ur daughter because u time fucked your grandmother... that kinda shit.
overall a Meh kinda game.. I ended up skipping a huge bit of content because this game is also a Kinkfest aside the character fest with most kinks / fetishes not being my taste.
Neko-Hime clearly doesn't understand that you cannot satisfy each & every person here. In an attempt to draw a wider audience by putting in as many charcters and kinks/fetishes, he has managed to create a game that is shallow in every aspects.

This is what minimal effort looks like, is it horrible no, is it great no.
The game features a huge selection of girls, all as bland and boring as the next. The only thing this game has going for it over most games, is the Loli tag, if that is your thing, maybe try it, otherwise just skip IMHO.
Its crazy its bland its forgettable.

The story is pretty awful as well as writing. Alright it's beyond awful. The variety of models and fetishes however the only reason I gave it 3/5.
If you like to read and enjoy the story, ignore it. Seriously, it has one of the worst stories ever that makes no f sense.

Really tickles my fetishes, especially like the inventive integration of recursive inbreeding. Hope for more soon.

My only gripes, the overall situation tends to jump around quite a bit (would have loved hanging around the school for a while), and during Week 2, the Skip function apparently thought I had seen everything already before my first run-through.

This is pretty bad. There isn't really a story. You walk around meet a bunch of ugly women and you have to do them all, sometimes even before you even met them if that even makes sense. The writing is beyond ridiculous to the point it's usually nonsensical and hard to understand due to the poor English.

Two word review: Ridiculous brilliance

The story is over the top, self aware, convoluted and complex. Some great moments of humor in there. Most renders and character design are very well done.

The downsides are:
Just too many characters - Most games have about 10 which might be a bit low, this has 100. So the dialogue will say "Oh she must mean Bianca" and I'm like "WhoTF is Bianca?" "Which one was Brooke?"
Too many repeat scenes - Doing the same things with the same small portion of characters. Most scenes are just instafuck. Many dialogues are tedious and repetitive.
Too many 'have to pick every option before proceeding', when you have no interest in 75% of the characters.
Incomplete - looks like there were supposed to be a third week (or at least a conclusion) but the dev appears to be working on 3 other games so I can't imagine that appearing any time soon.
OTT penis - comedicly large penis with giant foreskin detracts from the quality of the sex scene renders.
The whole 'incompatible save' thing if you miss a patch - yTF do you really need a save game when there are basically no consequential choices? And couldn't you just include a generic one anyway? Would have saved a lot of people a lot of fucking around.

Generally you'll find yourself blazing through dialogue or skipping scenes entirely on an increasing basis. Character development for a few of the girls is great, the rest are shallow and generic.

if there is one thing this VN drives home is that having a harem of 20+ girls might sound good in theory but in reality is impractical and tedious, even if you have a magic giant penis and they never experience jealousy.

Still definitely worth a look if you like the renders, which I did.

With this review I'm being generous with the two stars as it's possible to be worse, but not by too much.
1. The dialogue is really bad, but i wasn't expecting this to be well written, just something to beat my dick to so that's not a major downside.
2. The Main character somehow goes from having a normal penis as a boy to having a literal cylinder of something meat-like.
3. I'm just going to say that the female character models were a lot worse than i was expecting and leave it at that.

What can I say. This is a random collection of scenes and mismatched character. Given how ambitious is seems to be, the dev doesn't seem to care much. I think the splash screen font might hint at the level of quality here.

View some or all of the content, a lot of it is your choice. If you are not into incest you may want to skip this one, it is a core of the plot.

So you are telling me that a person with the body of twelve-yo can take an equivalent of man's fist in mouth without dislocating and \ or breaking the jaw? With no prior experience?

Plot stopped making sense about two minutes into the game, and the more you play, the worse it gets. This is a porn game, of course, however, consistency is key in VNs (and if you want to mindfuck players a bit, you better have some damn clever and interesting thing going on, which, as you may have guessed, this game does not).

Exposition is terrible, there is completely no reason to spend half an hour bombarding you with new faces and names only to whisk the main character away to completely different place with more new people.

Your ability to exclude fetishes is limited – if you are not into interracial momcest, for example, you will be disappointed.

To sum it up – stay away, it is horrible.

This is a top class AVN that caters to a lot of taboo desires with a lot of interesting characters and story too. I look forward to all the future updates that are to come! Well done to the Dev(s)! played it when it first came out, 9 months later i redownload it and well its a loli fest for sure. which if that is what you want than this is the game, animations are decent. story.... didnt really read much of it.

I do dislike the force interracial at the start, just not my cup of tea, but you can skip them later on in the game.

Needs more of that pool party scene from week 2 for sure.

First the good, tons of variety when it comes to girls/fetishes etc. Most of the girls look amazing.

The meh, the story is a joke, every girl immediately wants you after the first couple of days, but it feels like that was intended though it makes it hard to get immersed or feel connected to the girls at all aside from a few.

The bad, the animations are slideshows and the girly parts look like they are made out of construction paper killing the mood entirely. I feel like this game would be better with still images instead of the "animations" and this is the first game I ever thought that about before since the girls generally look amazing.

Many models are straight uncanny valley tier, I cannot shake feeling that the author wanted to include as many models as possible so he just made some changes (a lot of them are straight out copied from other games posted in this site) in really, really bad way. And that's just one complaint - the other one is that whoever edited models has no knowledge or will to learn proper human proportions hence the result - weird loli (I guess that was the goal?) dwarfs that make MC look like a giant.
Plot is really bad and all over the place. No pacing, no suspense. tone whatsoever. Just basic formula - MC meets a girl (or something that should resemble a female at least) and then they have sex. Just this formula implemented ad nauseam, quick pump and dump, tasteless, cheap and boring.
Overall, this game is just dreadfully bad.

Most of the renders are decent quality, but the artist has a problem with hovering items, or hovering people. The artist also hasn't figured out how to do ripples in water yet.

The biggest problem is the fact that it's a meet and fuck kinetic novel kind of project. Haven't seen an actual choice so far, all the so called choices only actually give you 1 choice, so yeah... As for it being a meet and fuck, you meet a girl and five minutes later your breeding her, meet another girl and instead of getting to know her, she invites you to her room for sex, then you meet the mother of 2 of the girls your playing with, and within a few minutes of talking she's crying and telling you how great it is because she hasn't been this close to a man in soooo long.... /smfh seriously......

This is my review about the VN Maou-sama.
I don't really get why people are giving it bad reviews because of the content, it's a straight to the point story that updates monthly nothing and has a huge ton of content (moment of speaking Week 2 day 11).

1. The story is not for everyone, not the basic romance story that why i like following it and see where every update takes me.
2. The renders are great every characters has their own design and have different sizes. (The MC has a huge D, makes it kinda look weird when there's a small female but that does't ruin it for me)
3. All the adult scenes in the game feel sometimes forced and gives you the feeling we lack a bit of romance, but the when you continue the story you get more of a story with each character and their bond with MC.
4. The Dev keeps posting nice previews and is very open with the progress of the game in Discord so that's a big win for everyone in my opinion

So in the end 5 stars because the game has made me write a review which i normaly wouldn't do, that's why i'm supporting the dev and hopefully the new projects are a great hit in the future.

I really have enjoyed this game up to day 8. There's quite a lot of content to see and lots of variety. Although, I have given it 4 stars due to the days following day 8 in this most recent update. One thing I really loved about this game was that you didn't really have to make a clear cut decision most of the time, and could experience most events. I like games that don't make you leave out content. Although, this new update doesn't afford you that opportunity and forces you to choose certain choices, which causes you to miss out on others. Of course, this is far from uncommon in most harem games, but I specifically liked this one because it was different. Although, this is MY opinion, and if you are looking to play this game I really encourage you to do so. I eagerly await future updates and commend the creator foe their dedication and hard work.

If you were like me, you saw "loli" "harem" and "incest" and went straight to the download. If that's you, you'll probably enjoy this for what it is:

Ok, so first off, this game is not good. The story is ridiculously convoluted. I couldn't even sum it up for you without writing an essay. It's that bad. The family tree and time-switching is confusing at best and just irritating at worst, the sex scenes are too brief, stunted and weirdly "animated" and the renders are almost good.

BUT.... if you came for a loli harem, you'll find no better fap than this one. If you don't care about plot, continuity, story, romance, logic or choices, then this is your game. If any of that stuff appeals to you, then I'd give this one a hard pass. It's definitely not for everybody. Or for rational people. Or for people who can read.

I give it 3 stars for diving head first into this niche and delivering what us degenerates came here for. Sometimes you don't want a five course gourmet meal, you just want some fucking McDonalds. And this is one tasty McFapFest. Cheap and easy.
