There's no need for english imo, the "game"- if it's can be called game anyway- is very simple. The only thing that need english is probably their conversation dialogue. You're literally just pressing "next button" with the game trying to make it seems like you have to "play certain route to progress", when in reality it just a glorified "video player". The closest I can think to resemble some sort of gameplay is probably the button to "change the position" which at least maybe can be called interactivity.

In the end, what I'm trying to say is, there are lots of other game with great story out there, that much much needed for the subtitles/english translation compared to this. Yes, I agreed that having subtitles would be a huge fucking deal... but not for this one.

I said it before on an Umemaro game but I so wish they would make actual games with these types of animations. The animations look so great but it's barely a game as we just click through them without any actual "gameplay". I think an open world sandbox game with a female protagonist like Mari here would be my favourite thing that Umemaro could do. I know there's many who hate sandbox games around here tho but oh well it's just something I'd personally love.
