how to heal teammates?
Additionally, you can have nurses assigned in NPC Menu ---> Jobs and Titles. Nurse is a title that can be assigned to NPCs with Medicine stat at 25 or higher. There's several NPCs who qualify. The easiest to get is Aiko. You just hire her. Doyle too although his initial hiring cost can be expensive for a new account but his daily salary is pretty low. Averil Lewis can be bought in Kymanto Hall (I think she's in second and if you do the starting Kymanto Hall missions -the ones before Slavemasters of Raana quest- she'll be available) and has 0 salary.

Then there's capturable NPCs with good starting medicine stats and 0 salary, Truls Baardson and Cassius Bauer, but the problem is that they will fight back so you better be strong enough to capture them and then deal with their starting affection of Despising (through a pool in your gazebo and maybe arranging dinner events). There's also a chance some random girl captures can roll really high in her starting medicine stat so it's something to watch out for.

For completionist's sake, I'll mention the others but they're not going to be easily available for a newer account:

Caitlin is probably the best prepared right off the bat if you decide to buy her in Crystal Heights. She has the second highest scripted medicine stat start and the pure trait. But she can also be annoying to deal with for certain more forceful playstyles.

Guys like Ayden, Einar, and the Black Guard can be too expensive but they can also be good at it. Not as much as Caitlin. But more nurses is better than less I should think.

There's more of course but they are even more late game than this and by that time you won't be having nurse problems anyway.

I have a question. How to tackle the food supply issue. I'm not quite there yet but already with just 20 or so people i can see the market's stock is shrinking fast.

That single Farm will cover all the needs of a massive household? I'm not yet there to acquire the farm and never built it before.

Farm is built inside your yard, it will help but its not going to do all the work. Easiest way is just to set food to auto-buy then there are places around the map you can invest in to give you crops like the Raiikan village or Ranches up north.

Also, regarding the ring questline, do you get that by having a sufficient number of girls working the ring for it to fire? the website is a bit bare bones regarding the questline to get zenobia that way
You start The Ring questline by going to Raikan and talking to a guy in one of the stores. Requirement for starting it is having sufficient power, 5 maybe?.

It's about a ring you put on your finger, not a prostitution ring. Zenobia is the girl in the fight you can have during that quest, so she needs to be captured alive.

Which farm? Zapin Fields from Averil Lewis' quest? Or Burakumin Village from clearing the Black Scorpion gang in Raikan?

Burakumin needs time to ramp up food production but it can support a decently sized house when upgraded. Zapin Fields though is amazing at food production once you get it going. It can be providing you with upwards of 600 food per day or higher depending on your investment on it. That 600 is from an upgraded Zapin fields with only 20 workers sent there and at 80 stability (you can send up to 50 workers and have up to 100 stability). Once you purchased the transport upgrade, the food is even automatically delivered to your house and added to your inventory.

For now, one of the best thing you can do is homeschool a girl in Domestic up to 80 and assign her the title Pantry Girl in NPC Menu ---> Jobs and Titles. You can read the description in the title: at 80 Domestic, she will make it so everyone in the house consumes one less ration per day.

If your main worry is running out of food supply and money is not a problem, you can click "Auto Buy Rations" in the Food section of your Economy tab. It did not affect market food supply.

A couple of things about Zapin Fields I'm not sure where to put: certain Conclude Day events can reset the level of your farms (Alien Vermin for example). You will have to travel there to upgrade the fields again. These events are more prevalent in Grimdark and A Dying World difficulties. And here is the wiki entry for Zapin Fields: . The stability modifier each new NPCs assigned there gives is also affected by the stability of Zapin fields itself. So at 90 stability, a guy you sent there that should have yielded +2 stability may only yield +1.

Oh, i fucking wish. It's not power that's required to start the quest, it's 10k influence. (or defeating Black Scorpion)

Well, wiki (Haruki's store page) claims it's 14 power value.

Though when I finally remembered to do it I'm pretty sure I had more than 14 power value and 10k+ influence but hadn't defeated Black Scorpion, so who knows.

I guess it's just something that was changed in the meantime. Game script in the current version has this:
Code:
<<if $raien1 gte 1 and $credit lte 9999>>
<br><br>''//
You have to gain Botan's trust either by defeating The Black Scorpion or reaching an Influence of 10,000+ in order to activate his quest. //''

<</if>>
Since i've done neither i'm getting by for the time being with large garden and Juno as semi-competent gardener (until i find someone better)

Wait, what's this got to do with competent gardeners...?
This tangent started with question how to produce enough food, so i was getting back to that. If the girl with gardener assignment has decent Gardening skill, it increases yield from estate garden (between 25-100%) so it helps a bit with addressing that.

Oh, I thought we were strictly talking about how to start The Ring quest in order to get Zenobia,

At least that's what I was responding to, some other people were talking about the food issues. :geek:

can someone give a rough estimate in how many quest there are because I can't seem to find new ones.
A large part of quests is connected to persons and less locations. meaning that a majority is character quests from slaves. These are not the 'random' ones you pick up after a fight though (with very few exceptions), but 'named' slaves from markets etc.

I am still writing the general guide, as the wiki is spreading those infos all over the place currently, but as a rule of thumb: with very few exceptions only female fighters, that have an actual name before you start a fight, are worth keeping and might be a slave with a quest. Anyone else is just a 'generic' one that might fill some household position, but doesnt come with extra quests.

As things are currently, not keeping any 'generic' ones, is kind of the best approach, as every single person in your household adds to food consumption, without helping you quest and location wise.

As for being able to acquire those with quests: Income from businesses and household requires huge investments first, before they make any notable dent in your daily income. Thus selling those 'generics' is your main income in the early stages. Either add them to your household first and try to sell them to one of the slave markets. This is usually the best approach, if you dont want to cheat, as most of the time the market prices are going to be better than what the quick sell price is (there is some method to which one of the markets you offer them to. Experiment and you will find out yourself which is best for which slave type). Or use the cheesy F5-method while in the slave process window, until the sell price is somewhere upwards of 5k.
