The Family Man trait is no longer locked to MoR Enhanced as far as I can tell. And no, you cannot change the relations, they are wife, son, and daughter, unless your MC is younger than 30. In which case, it is step-son and step-daughter. Still no incest at step-daughter. You can change their names and you can set your wife's focus which influences her stat and traits.

Actually, I also have "an issue with this". I agree with manmademonster that it's not worth the developers' risks, to implement something that can and likely will cost them. I will add my own take that your arguments are not only spurious apples to oranges logic, but self serving. I'm not here to kink shame anyone, but I will defend my opportunity to enjoy what I like to play, without being insulted, directly or otherwise, for NOT being interested in participating in someone else's kink, thank you. Team Grimdark has created something special here. I want to see where they take it. I don't see how adding incest will enhance the story or the game play in any way. I don't usually involve myself in these little spats, for the same reasons I don't get into the NTR/NO INTR spats, for reasons that should be obvious. I will suggest that those 99 percent you speak so blithely of might, like me, prefer to stay out of stupid keyboard word wars. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them start speaking up soon. 2. It makes no sense as a way to incapacitate someone in a fight, especially in a game where body armor and firearms are common.

When your livelihood depends on an income stream, like a game dev depending on the support of patreons, it's a risk not worth taking. Your anger is misdirected at the dev trying to mitigate risk rather than the puritanical Patreon policy or their random rules enforcement regime. You shouldn't blame the dev for either of those or for their abiding by the one to avoid the other.

It could be a chain of bullshit, who knows. Maybe patreon or similar platforms were hit again by payment processors.

Lurker, the damage from the whipping can, and the combat staff, are directly related to MC skill levels. I I have had no trouble at all with most captures since I passed the 100 melee skill level. For S&G I knock down the Space hulk using JUST the cane. It works. YMMV.

I view it as an instrument to deliver the coup de grâce, not as an effective weapon. Incapacitating gas would be cool AOE though, NGL.

I never addressed him until I was addressed. I didn't know responding to another person counted as "yammering at them" but you do you bud.
Also calling out hypocrisy and silliness is not me forcing a "kink" onto you. Everything in the game is optional. I'm not into hardcore BDSM so I don't typically do it in my games.
The dev isn't forcing kinks on anybody by giving people options so your whole diatribe reeks of bad faith.
If two people discussing something offends your sensibilities then I suggest you get off the forums.
You won't have to witness "keyboard wars" that way buddy.

This game already has content that is pushing the Patreon TOS so that point is moot as well. Have a nice day!

There is nothing hypocritical about a developer protecting his/her/their investment/creation. Constantly bothering them to customize it to your own personal specifications is selfish, and couching those demands in terms of "reasonableness" IS hypocritical. Tossing out your little "99" percent is just bullshit until you actually do a survey which nets 100 percent participation, and demonstrates accuracy in your claims. But hey, I hear that there is a movement right now to force Parker Brothers to introduce incest to their online version of Monopoly. Maybe try joining them. You might find what you are looking for there.

If you make your first priority after raising Stamina to increase Melee Combat and Strength on your top slaving team you will find the whipstick quite effective in disabling opponents. It does prolong combats but that also means you get more crits so Melee Combat skill goes up even faster. I don't even bother switching out melee weapons when fighting (Randoms) in the Arena, I do fire a few shots sometimes but usually just take them down with whipsticks.

As for immersion, just think of it like beating them down rather than blowing or cutting holes in them. It takes longer but it's definitely worth it as you can sell them afterward.

If you can find where I've constantly bothered the dev to do anything or even asked them for anything anywhere on this thread or the entire internet you may have a point.
I suggest you go back and read the whole comment chain to see where it started since you seem so interested for someone who stays out of "keyboard wars".

Don't bother swapping, if you want to make the most slaving then just stay with whipsticks most all of the time. Firing guns (or using Katanas/Greatswords) at those with Combat Armor+ to whittle them down is the most I ever do.

Note that the bonus damages from high Melee/Strength/Powerstrike far surpass the relative difference between a whipstick and a sword for instance. Also consider getting 'Critical Strike' during character creation or adding Aaron from Kymanto as they are very helpful for slaver strats.

A whip would at least have some reach. The only person I've ever seen dual wielding whips was doing it as a stunt at a show. Awesome but impractical... which is still better than the whipping cane, which is stupid and impractical.

I don't like the cane either but I pretty do what Clemency suggested and it works. I think he gave me the same advice a while back.
