That's gonna be a massive endeavour for whoever decides to tackle such a project (regardless of whether or not they stay faithful to the original [ie: keeping the shota content or not])

With the scale of the project it would ultimately be a better idea to take the original core idea [H parody of Dragon Quest] and make a whole new game from scratch. Much more creative freedom that way.

I hear the artist died, don't have proof though, but if it's true, I doubt it will be the same, it have to be a different game entirely with different artist, and that would make it a different game. Like the difference between FFX and FF13 when the original team of FFX split up, 13 made by new people isn't as good.

The artist is far from dead and has been releasing VN's every year since Mature Quests release.

The artist that did the art for mature quest isnt even currently active as far as i recall.
While i cant recall the name i remenber the dev for mature quest mentioning that the artist was gonna drop the brush.
The art is similar but its literally only that. Theres a bunch of artists that take inspiration on others for their own art after all.

I been following since Mature Quest was in development on FC2, and when Mature Quest dropped I made sure to follow the artist and the artist goes by Kuzumi, the mainly publish under the Studio Pork banner, and were also made a few VN's/Artist CG's prior to mature quest under the Studio Pork name a few of these being dragon quest flavored. If you even compare the prior VN titles that released before mature quest and even most of the titles after, he draws the same eyes, same nipples same everything. The guys an expert on anime milfs at this point and one of my all time favorite.
The biggest difference between mature quest and his VN's are mature quest CG's are heavily downscaled for old rpgmaker and overlayed on top of the games background in most cases besides a few scenes, while his VN's are typically fuller scale resolution with full backgrounds he made.

Also I believe in reference to the above post the artist that dropped the brush is the artist who did all the pixel sprites and game sprites, not the character/h-cg.

I'm pretty sure the dev who created mature quest are not the same as studio pork, I read somewhere he only commissioned all the art from them. We never would really know what happened to the dev so that's unfortunate. The least we can hope for now is someone actually just updates the game to the latest version along with the translation.

Fun fact: The version on the OP is the latest version of the game, but because the translation was for v1.07 and didn't get updated to the latest version, it actually downgraded the version on the OP back to v1.07

P.S: I have reported this many times, but it keeps getting declined.

P.P.S: Porting the translation from v1.07 to v1.11 isn't a simple process due to underlying code changes. Doing it the proper way is such a long process that whoever ends up taking up the mantle needs to be in it for the long haul. Personally, I think it would be a better idea for the task to be part of porting the game to a newer iteration of RPG Maker, along with adding proper translation support.

But considering we can't even get the displayed version on the first page (v1.1 final) corrected to the version that is actually linked (v1.07 [due to the translation]) I don't see them getting stickied, especially since they aren't translated versions.

Yeah it's a good game m8, artwork is better than the gameplay, but if you like old classic jrpg's like dragon quest, then this is better for you. Storyline isn't that great or anything, but it's cool. The artwork puts newer hentai games to shame. Game is complicated to navigate, it's like a giant puzzle your going to cum buckets from the artwork alone though.
