Loose draft is done, and I'm still in the design phase of Mike Hawk with my artist. Gallery guy has messaged me and he is still working on it apparently. I'm hopeful it will get done soon.
Rai Oh Gar by the same group had it as well. It's one of my favorite mechanics I've come across, and I wish more games had it. And yeah, the version in Maya's Mission is probably the best implementation I've seen of it so far. Nebel Geisterjager had a mechanic somewhat like the lights on the tracker, with a device that showed your partner's heart rate, but it didn't work out quite as well (it generally meant you needed to have already set up a camera in the room where she's at, then need to hightail it to the security room and cycle through the cameras to find her, to see the scene, and many times you'd just find her and the guy with her fighting monsters). Another mechanic in Maya's Mission I'd like to see more of is the blacklight.

This game is SO good wth? I can't believe how much they nailed the ace attorney part of this game but also the sexual content and themes are so good too. Really nice steady pace of content. I also love getting to play both characters. I REALLY hope that after they finish this game they make another one.
I would love to see the creator of this game do another series like Danganronpa or persona 5.
persona series is oversaturated in the r34 market.

I'm gonna be so sad once the game concludes. I can't stop thinking about it. This game has such a niche genre that's hardly represented, and it's done superbly. I'm sure whatever pinkmochi and the rest of the devs make next for their OC games are gonna be great too, but not sure if they're going to be anything similar to MM or something I'd personally enjoy.
I'm gonna miss the hell out of this game. Wish I had 10k lying around to drop for the devs because they deserve it for the hard work of recreating AA, keeping the beloved characters true to their original nature and making a banger of a NTR game.

Taking a glance at the release history on his Patreon, there were 5 months between 0.3 and 0.4, and another 5 months between 0.4 and 0.5, so I'd imagine it will be 5 months from 0.5 to the next major update; as 0.5 came out 2 months ago, that probably leaves us 3 months to go. Early Christmas present, perhaps?
It isn't technically NTR, you have no relationship with the main girl outside of a mentor type one. However the main lewdness of the game is the main girl and another guy not the one you are playing so if that isn't your thing neither is this game.
All the ntr is "technically not NTR, but close enough to trigger people in a similar way".
1) PMD, the dev, plans to create an alternative route without any of the NTR-ish plotline after the game is done. If you want to avoid it entirely, you should wait for that.
2) Maya and Phoenix are coworkers with a sibling-like dynamic. Without spoilers, the plot involves both of them being "corrupted" to some degree, but in separate places. A key mechanic is the tracker, which allows Phoenix (and players) to check on how Maya is doing. This usually involves voyeuristically viewing parts of some implied lewd action. It’s a lot of teasing. (Phoenix himself does get with several girls in the meantime.)
Slight SPOILER: The extent of Maya’s actions depends on player choices. Maya having full-on penetrative sex can be avoided if you want to. Everything before that is fair game, though.

If you mean the beeping sound, that pops whenever there's a change in the scene in the tracker.
As for actual sexual sfx, they're rare but some scenes do have them.
