Based on the feedback I received after the release of version 0.1, many players were dissatisfied with the transition effects of the rendered images and the volume levels of the music/sound effects.
Upon re-evaluating, I fully recognized the development mistakes in version 0.1. I have made significant improvements to address these development mistakes, and you will see these changes in future versions.
This minor patch/update will be released alongside version 0.2.
A huge thank you to my subscribers and supporters!

Sorry for late!

Here is the latest development progress:

Pictures: 750
Code: 4100 lines
Character Dialogue: 2000 lines
story: 85%
ui: 90%
Translation: 0%
Music: 75%
Animation: 7 segments

Because I spent too much time waiting for the custom model assets and added some new tasks to optimize the sound effects and animation transitions of version 0.1, the progress hasn't been very ideal. I'm really sorry about that.

A huge thank you to my subscribers and supporters!

Everything about this game seems and looks amazing.

But I can't help but notice that the game was posted in december 2022 and we're now mid 2024 with the game being on a 0.1 version.

How often does the game receive updates?

Gonna give the game a try regardless, but would like to know more about that aspect of the game

It's a bit confusing because the current V0.1 is actually a rebooted version released half a year ago. Long story short, the developer made a few releases in 2023 and the game system, story and graphics were not up to par, so he went back to redo a lot of work and sort of restarted the whole project again.

The unique feel of the game you are seeing now is a result of the reboot, graphics in the previous versions weren't that distinct and looked more like the standard Honey Select ones you see in other games.

You can reference his first release post with screenshots of the original game here.

I've optimized and removed those transitions effects TAT
Starting with the next version, you won't see it again, except for some special episodic performances.

Sometimes when people learn something new they can overuse it without realizing it.
And I didn't think there were any drawbacks when I released the first version and didn't notice that until I was criticized by others. It's a flaw in some of my creative abilities as a person.

I wouldn't call it a flaw, sometimes there is no way to know whether something will be well-received until it is released. Even big firms with millions in marketing research budget make mistakes all the time.

More important thing is to receive feedback and be flexible to change accordingly. Many developers fail either because they are too stubborn and insist on what they like and do not care about their fans (i.e. treating it as a hobby rather than a commercial product) or get derailed by the vocal minority and pander to the them at the expense of everyone else.

In this case the 2 issues identified (BGM volume and transition effects) appear to be prevalent complaints so you're on the right track in fixing them. Perhaps in the future you can consider getting feedback more systematically in the form of polls or feedback forms. Reading comments in forums can get overwhelming and sometimes skewed with distracting noises.
