I missed this when the first version launched, but given the sheer eloquence of the synopsis, I think I can feel safe that this game is going to be very well written. Download is in progress so I'm eagerly anticipating this experience!

Definitely interesting but I am immediately annoyed by the whole "Everything has a price" statement with abilities. It feels very 80's in it's psychology instead of a modern way of storytelling, not saying I hate an 80's vibe cyberpunk journey at all, just certain aspects like the whole moral need to balance out having a power with it also coming at a cost when it's used is overdone, for a reason and that's always laziness with writing. As a concept it's 1D and never actually holds water.

I think the storytelling and the scene's changing timing need to improve, even reading the chinese version still have some unsmooth places, the model is ok for me though.

I still dunno if I like this game or not, but it's definitely... Something.

I like the artstyle, in general. I like girls in revealing but still noble outfits. I like working with camera. But then I see a render with fucked up bones joint Gigi's shoulder or Nikita's ankle and... Also, is it just me or renders are kinda... Blurry. Though I'm glad there are renders precisely, not sprites.

Writing... Well, I see an improvement since 0.1. Still, it's really LORE HEAVY. I can cope with that, but some people could find that too much. Though I liked that part with Luna and Stella when it landed to slice of life.

Setting is... Cyberpunk mixed with magic elves and superheroes. Well... I get it, cyberpunk is popular in Asia, and D*sney is doing good job with M****l. And I guess there is a HEAVY inspiration from Phoenixes:Kappa:

Music was that thing which catched my attention mostly. You know, jerking off your dick with Bizet's Carmen in the background is an experience. And I enjoy it, it's really interesting choice to use classical music as OST. Dev definitely has iron balls for inserting licensed music.

So I'm looking forward for new updates just out of curiosity with which track will dev hit me next time. And "Oldie's" dom scene:KEK:

BTW, it would be nice to have textbox/textbox opacity settings.
Thank you for your willingness to write such a long review for this game~

The rendering of artstyle-0.1 will be reset in full in the future, and I will try to make sure that there are no more model errors that are too offensive.
Blurry... This is some of my personal preference, I like the kind of cover up and mystery that blur brings to the girls. In the words of an old Chinese poem, "the lute is half hidden", this is the best state I want to pursue.
However, I will also pay more attention to the line between blur and clarity in future updates, thank you for your advice!

Writing-well... I think I might need to find out what LORE HEAVY means.

Music - This is also a point that I am very attentive to. I've been worried about people getting sick of the music I pick (because they don't seem to be popular with people right now), and I appreciate your approval.

I will look into how to add a way to adjust the text box transparency in the next version. Sorry, code is not my strong point.

I agree with you, in fact I have been considering the reasonableness of this setting.
There are many limits to ability, from the larger sense of responsibility to the country, to one's own moral heart, to the smaller limits from family and friends. These will drive the plot more than a pure "Everything has a price" superpower.
But in fact, "Everything has a price" superpower - this setting, it is a basic setting, not I want to be lazy to describe the moral and ethical plot.
But thanks for bringing that up, it's good for me to keep an eye on it in my subsequent writing!

我只是一個興趣使然的小作者。
Thank you for your suggestion, I will pay attention to the continuity of the plot text and visual effects in the subsequent episodes.
Also, because I have not lived in other areas, So the character design inevitably has the characteristics of the region I live in. I apologize if this brings you a bad gaming experience.

Thanks for your advice!

No worries man, btw lazy was meant in terms of the countless times it's used by professional writers who write for productions with budgets mere mortals can only dream about. I wasn't trying to call your writing lazy, I realise that's how it came across.

I reckon just changing that part of the conversation to just say that one line of "Everything has a price" from Nikita instead of saying she'll lose life with each use makes much more sense, or you could make a joke about it and have her say "Healing this cop has just cost me 100hp off of my max hp, that's hp I'll never get back!" Which highlights the impossiblity of knowing something is actually removing life expectancy from you, in real terms outside game language that just isn't quantifiable.

However, if you do want there to be a cost/price to pay for using said abilities then there's always options, just can't be actually quantifiable in terms of life expectancy removal. For example, radiation is energy, it's essential, it's ever present, if we get too much of it though we'd mutate or die. Small amounts are fine. Using a concept like this and building on that could easily lead to a scenario where excessive radiation from continually using powers has been known to kill some vigilantes. Increases cancer growth etc. and so on. I suppose the essential part of explaining it is that you can't explain it because it's a new phenomenon which no one should understand yet and so it's still being delved into and there should be theories about it, not an actual concrete story or exactly how it works.

OMG, the renders looks amazing, maybe the best i've ever seen. Can't belive a game with this render quality is not more well-known. Also I think it's important to make sure that the dialog in the game matches the high quality of the visuals. It might be helpful to collaborate with someone with strong English skills, make sure it delivers the story you wanna tell, i'm sure they would gladly be working with you.I wish you all the best and keep up the good work
Hey there I'm the current English translation of this game and I want to hear a little more suggestions for the dialog. Do you think there are too many interjections in conversations? Do you think there's any inconsistency or grammar issues? We are trying to proofread and improve the text content as much as we can, so I'd love to hear your feedback.

Hi, I'm the current English translator and thanks for your feedback!

I believe there is a decent amount of dialogue in this game that is "lost in translation", and the storytelling part is stuck in between a eastern and western style. From a rhetorical view, the pathos deviates when I directly translate sentences from Chinese, and the emotions the author try to convey become a little... skewed. Anyways, I will closely discuss with Jasonton about the direction we want to go, and we will improve the overall dialogue so that the game remains consistent. Cheers!

I was a bit confused seeing if this was a Chinese game (either from a TW or SG dev or from a mainland CN dev) since I saw that blue electric poster with anime figures being in Japanese. Either way great game so far, adding it to my watch list.

Truth be told... Without seeing Eternum, I probably wouldn't have considered making the game.
Just came back here after I saw the Eternum referenced in game. I'm happy to say this game have peaked my interest due to the hq graphics and interesting story as well since it's inspired by Eternum. A game that also has good story alongside good scenes.

I'm just surprised this game hasn't been on my radar considering I'm visiting this site very frequently.

This game has a lot of 'tell' and not a lot of 'show.'

It is a lot of world building.

It's interesting though?

I still suggest you to remove the in-game chinese translation scripts from now on and distribute the translation as a "fanmade" mod or something else. Since trolls, even not those from China, may also have accessability to officials and just maliciously report you. If you distribute the game and the translation separately, you may have plausible deniability regarding to your nationality. I could've been wrong though so take it with a grain of salt.

I'll take that into consideration.
