Some games have a "fap mode", skipping the scenes, but otherwise you need to redo everytime...

No, it was the one I got from the OP. I just tried the SWF from your link and that one crashes in the same spot too. I'm using the official flash player debug tool from Adobe's website.

& now I keep seeing this, game is super unplayable

One solution could be using Ruffle and loading the swf file in a HTML page (not 100% working). I tried multiple pseudo swf player android apps and none of them worked.
to summarise : Flash is shitty for multi-platform

Thank you for this. I updated the mnf mediafire folder to include it and avoid issues with a malfunctioning version
