This might be a silly question but is there anyway to make the new games more high quality like how the swf flash versions were? The new versions are lame lol. I like being able to use the flash player with zooming out and such as well

But in short - unfortunately due to the different base mechanics behind flash games vs. html games,
the "quality" with zooming out and the amount of content in games indeed decreased :/

There are still options to zoom out the html game in a browser, but you will see the pixels and image quality drop.

Hey thank you for the response and taking the time to explain it to me my friend rly appreciate it. Damn that sucks to hear. It's funny because the image quality is really good when it comes to every scene in each game EXCEPT the sex scenes themselves lol oh well in any case at least i learned something new today thanks for that

Even if you look at a lot of MNF older games (in swf) there is a lot of them which have more content in itself (scenes, gameplay, story, etc.) and at the same time they're 10x smaller in size compared as if they were made in html format.

Newer or different format not always means it's actually more efficient in what it is supposed to do. Especially when your goal is to make simple small 2D game. And as the joeyeroq mentioned above, requirement to rasterize vector graphics to raster images which have to be defined pixel by pixel in html masively increased the size of all new games. And while vector images can lack detail compared to real life photo images (as this format is focused on geometric shapes on a coordinate system) that's completely not the case when we plan to work on simple 2D images used in MNF games.

For example you can no longer easily zoom the graphics or easily manipulates certain elements in html as it was possible with SWF. Now it has to be specified by additional lines of code, which depending on the person could add more time to the making process and it's easier to makes mistakes.

Basically we lost the small size of the games (format) and certain simple key functions which were perfect for the job. And what you get instead is bigger size of the file and more potential tools... which really are not necessary to get the job done :/

If I had to translate it to something simple, it's like you need to decorate a simple cake (MNF game) and u could use either SWF (small spoon) or html (shovel). You can do it with both things, but one will work better than the other.

In other cases, html5 games are a mix of art with some animations of 3D - 2D and any other stuff to create inmersive lore of some games (like the animation of the book at the begining of the game : "Officer Juggs A Memoir Chapter 1" and any other recent game of meet and fuck with big details).

Yes, some of the stuff used in the html5 games can't not be easy extracted to get used in any other animations (if u see inside of the files of the meet and fuck games in html5, is like trying to solve a puzzle, the animation and pics are there in parts). like the every pic and animation used in swf games (u can use many programs to see the files, and extract him to make a edited animation or pics with that, is more easy and u can make the same thing with the swf files of the online game MNF Club).

And about the size of both games, in this new format, the HTML5 games have a tons of stuff (Each MNF Games have over than 50 MB in stuff, compared with the SWF games who doesn't have more than 25 MB in some cases). the old meet and fuck games are more easy to play and see like the recent ones, is looks like to compare the size of the game who has been compressed and decompressed.

If u mean about the quality of the games using the option of zoom in or out, u can perfectly do it with the SWF games using flash player and other program, and u will get a perfect pic with some low quality pixels, but with html5 games is other case. (for some reason the quality of the pic looses if u try to change the size of the screen, or in some games, the authors do the character very small and looks horrible if u try to zoom in ) And of course, the problem to zoom in or out in html5 games is one of the biggest problem, because that depends only of ur web browser and emulator. (compared with the games in SWF format u can see the 100% of the game in full screen, the html5 games u only can see 50% of the game, the other 50% of the screen are occupied by the banners of meet and fuck games and the menu to skip scenes.

If u want to close the game, u need to press F11 and zoom out the screen of ur web browser, and press "Widescreen" to go back to normal, is the only bad thing of this type of games.

Thanks for the tip I'm gonna try the f11 trick out later. Hopefully this fixes some of the scenes on some games that have animations that go off screen not showing the full models and such. Man I miss flash games :cry:
