I would say it's the opposite. It's more likely you're infected if your computer didn't detect it.
I never said I was using Defender. I also didn't fuck up in setting up my antivirus(although you might not have either and it's a FP)

First thing's first, an antivirus shouldn't have archive scanning enabled. Apart from the obvious fact that it will use more resources you can't get infected by an archive file(7z, zip, rar, etc.) even if it contains a virus inside of it.

Second, seeing as how Defender has the feature to scan an archive hidden I really doubt all of you opened Advanced Settings with Powershell just to enable it.(I trust my fellow perverts to have enough brains not to enable this feature)

Third, see screenshot attached. The ony thing detecting the executable is a second tier turkish AV(great reference there).

It's very likely that it's SmartScreen detecting the file as a trojan since Windows Defender's signatures don't consider the file as infected. Either it detects the fact that it's a crack or it has been flagged on purpose to scare people off from pirating the game.(I doubt the Dev has such influence so it's most likely the crack)

Still, the most important thing of them all that I want to highlight is this, just to showcase your vast knowledge on the matter: You get a warning from Windows Defender for a .7z file and you decide to trust it... I rest my case.

Game works fine, just can't figure out how the fuck to get the 2nd good ending.

All links seem to be compromised, I tried mega, kraken, mixdrop, pixeldrain and yourfiles too

If someone could open it in virtual machine to see if its legitimate error, that would be appreciated

Execute the files at your own risk

I don't know why your defender would report this. I checked the archive file using windows defender on my PC (up to date), it didn't report anything.
I'd guess you may have some outdated signatures that somehow trigger heuristic warning.

On the other hand ... don't downlaod from a piracy site in the first place ;)

Never said I was either. It's most likely a false positive, I was just saying that people who never even get to download the file because their AV says nope and deletes it before they even open it are less likely to be infected than someone who didn't even get the FP.

Not really, it depends on the virus. Some trojans(which are the most common type of viruses) sometimes trigger the antivirus when downloading safe files becuase they are actually trying to scan the file as well for sensitive information. If you look back it was only one person that posted about this when I replied not knowing that it was actually the archive file that was detected(I thought it was the executable that was flagged). I only found out afterwards that the archive was the issue which made it clear it's a FP most likely from the behavioral engines.
