what is not that awesome is that silly "(grin)" and such... feels dumb and since we have pictures, shouldn't we see "(grin)" in them!? ...

And oftentimes the conversation lacks connection and is very "topic-jumpy".

And don't forget having to wait ~ 10 s for a buttefly to flap its wings or the womand the hat... dunno what stroke the dev had to make it mandatory...

Why do you think? Because he is very limited on what he can do with Patreon compared to SS. SS isnt so anal about certain content like Patreon is.

The Dev. has gone awol and no one seems to know why, or if anything bad has happened to him, not heard from for a year.
This "update" is just a collection of things that were proposed but not actually finished.
Whether the game continues or gets abandoned is anyone's guess but those who worked with the Dev seem to want it to continue.
I hope they succeed but it really is in the lap of the gods and it may not follow the Dev's original intent.

Hello, unfortunately you haven't understood the context of why the story is fragmented.

The scene you're talking about takes place a few months after the scene where she was ready to slap him. There are simply quite significant gaps between the two moments.

CosmoK wanted to start work on the bedroom scene with different storylines. I took the time to try to explain this with text displays that explain the context.
And it has nothing to do with what he wants or doesn't want, he simply disappeared with a project to work on.

I'm just finishing up my commitment to him, that's all. A commitment only makes sense if it's carried through and respected until the end.

Okay, there's also my time and work on 3D corrections for texture deployment, but it's his project, ‘to make a real game with a story’.

I realised that this project was becoming a memento mori.
So nothing will be done to distort CosmoK's vision. I'm finishing up the remaining bits and pieces, and this version will remain frozen for eternity.

so is there a possibility that you or anyone else who might want to work with you on this would take the concept seriously and convert this into a full game instead of bits and pieces?

Personally, i started following this thread to return to the game once it has a decent amount of content but reading this in the early stages of the game, it will be another abandoned game in the ocean of unfinished projects.

Why not continue and make this game?
Why keep adding more to the game when the original dev has already abandoned it?

if i had the knowledge and skills to create a game like this, and certainly you know how to at this point if you kept working on it, when the dev hasnt, then just create one yourself, or i would if i could. You seem passionate about this, so just take a leap of faith and create something yourself.
It's no secret that this industry is littered with bad devs who only care about a quick paycheck and aren't able to be consistent and show up to develop their projects.

Actually, I suggest turning it into a story like the one in the church and releasing it as a short story.
