Maybe she didn’t intervene and thought it was too late and her mom betrayed her dad? Maybe she was too drunk to notice, and only after taking a shower did she come to her senses? Maybe the bathroom is far from her mom’s room, and she went straight to the shower after coming home? There are so many possibilities!
