Clearly a trans protag, the dialog is all female pronouns even internal, and there is a large female gender sign in the UI, and the game says as much. Nothing hints at them having been male in story.

I am gonna guess the engine this game uses is godot and the latest versions of godot requires opengl 3.3 as minimum.
Yes, in game, during missions you just collect enough DNA and you morpth, it normally gives you options.
Just need one of 46 people that pay for it to drop the file here, I think if you ever gave 3 dollars you keep access to the dropbox folder as well.
