He did consider it, but the consistency was not very good.

The Upscaler usually respects the original image, if it doesn't, a little Photoshop fixes it.

Where consistency fails is in images generated with AI, but when you rescaling an existing image the result has quite good consistency.

What issue are you having? The only thing that I can see at first glance is that you're missing one of the portraits (it's showing 6 out of 7 inspected). You also have the swimming trunks, but you haven't swam yet to increase your endurance (you can only swim when no one else is at or in the pool).
As far as any other tasks left, there's nothing else to do with the girls at the moment.

They are short animations, you can extract the frames in Photoshop, upscale the frames with AI, and use the resulting images to do the animation again.
In any case, there are new developments with AI every day, it is only a matter of time before a consistent solution appears.

That may cause issues with development, time-wise. Especially being on a consistent monthly release schedule. And with Faerin being the only one doing the renders, coding, writing, animation, etc... Well, I think you can see why that would cause issues. Needless to say, he has given AI some thought as far as animations go.
That is exactly the problem. It ends up looking like some stop motion animation from the 70's, it's really bad. Maybe one day, but not yet.

There certainly are possibilities - but also potential pitfalls. When I look at the image of the trio, the expressions of the girls seem quite different to me. Also the abs in the last set are way too prominent. Nothing unfixable, but not a quik'n'easy solution IMO.
But thanks for putting these up for comparison.
Unfortunately there is no development regarding Madeleine. A sufficient advantage of the mm was a rather quick progress with a queen of the game- I mean Julia of course.

This looks terrible, dev should stick to the original art imo.
It is an interesting exercise, testing out the tech on a set of images.
IMO - the upscaled revs of the women make them look older and more worn.
There is a softness and youth to MS's original imagery that is missing.

Does this have the awful scene system from Mystwood Manor or is it more like Man of The House, or neither?
Is there a 'cracked" version of this game? None of the patches are working and I'm still locked out of the game.

Probably because you have set your game path inside some hidden or long path folders, please move the game under C:\Midnight Sin and you should be able to play without any issues.
Otherwise please take the logs (you can find the path on the FAQ) and attach here.
Also this game doesn't need any cracks, because it has been shared the extra version.

Could you attach your player log, please?
Use the Windows + R keys and paste the following in your Run box:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Faerin Games\Midnight Sin
You'll need to put the log file in a zip or rar before attaching it.
It’s more like Man of the House, only without the mood system (since most people just turned that off anyway). It has a fighting minigame, the beginnings of a stat and money system, and some puzzle solving instead.
