maybe you could try hitting your dick with a hammer right when you start playing. this particular custom challenge might be the most difficult one you've encountered so far, but i think you have what it takes

Oh, I love doing these! Although I've only been doing pretty simple challenges like not leaving NPCs behind, not understanding japanese, no parries, or no damage runs. Right now I'm replaying the whole game with the non-restricted characters using limited loadouts.

But with your mentions of editing stats with CE, I'm not sure what to think of first. My initial thought was to increase the health of enemies, but even I'm not exactly the biggest fan of those lol

Interestingly, the engine was made for Speedrun/challenge with the ability to save game replay and to share it with the world to compare your run. That could be enabled in the settings with a bit of fiddling.
If you're interested in that, you can also fairly easily create new stage and edit current levels to add more enemies or change their states...
A MTL guide about the engine exist here : and an (for now in beta) English patch of the editor can be found here :
It should make it easier to edit map and change base game stats... Then you just need to edit the world map to make it access your custom map...

The base engine editor comes with a few demo maps of what you can do in terms of interaction level with the map (although it's in Japanese, I should translate that someday) to help getting a bit more familiar with the concepts... And yes, modding is fun !

Good luck !

Sadly i only know how to edit player values. Maybe with a bit trial and error, its possible to find individual enemies, but i'm not sure how reliable the spawn tables are. Though, if it is possible, it would be cool to add health regen to all enemies.

Hell yeah. I've downloaded AE a few days ago, but i don't really have time to fully dive in. Good to know there is at least an english guide for it. I love modding. Thanks

Very cool ! More people using Aquedi4!
While I'm far from being expert or even a regular user of the engine, there definitely could be a room for tutorials and guide on how to use the engine. I could spend a bit of time digging around the internet to find existing resources and translate them... It's actually both quite easy to create a mod or game, but also a full game with Aquedi4. Japanese people using it a lot told me it's much easier for people familiar with it to create a little game than what it would be for them to create it in unity...
Also me lmk if something don't work or isn't translated in the editor!
Have fun :)

i would like to inform you (lmao) that your (i assume) font hook created for Explorer of Golden Planet seems to work here as well, making the text formating look much nicer.
same instructions apply as in that game, so getting the game1020.exe from the link and copying asihook into game directory. I will test this to see if its completely bug free and get back
