Reckon you hit the wrong smiley there, mate.I think the comment isn't to be taken literally, people say shit all the time, I actually find it refreshing that there's lines that do not serve to overexplain a development or situation. This is actually one of the strength of the writing here.
Nonetheless, you're right I think in taking it seriously to a certain extent. It gave me two things. First Mila's changing attitude/priorities. The comment may not be meant literally but it is meant. At the very least, we know that the sexual adventures are revitalising her after a period of stagnation. She is also learning to enjoy tastes and seems to develop a kind of fetish for conquest-type feelings. Regardless as bottom or top, the NTS route is full of fulfilment-seeking through external validation, under which would fall fetish-y things like objectification, exhibitionism but also how she learns to enjoy making men cum etc.
THough I'm not sure dev means it that way, as he might want to be more "sex positive" or whatever you wanna call it, but I see it as part of the same psyche at the core of Mila, which I think is unhealthy. Even if it is not intended by the writer, the basis for my opinion is there, just the opinion itself can be different, i.e. if one views the behaviour as healthy. He captures it because the writing of the character is realistic(-ish). Of course such a psyche can be a result of the situation, an innate issue or maybe you can see it as universal human thing, ennui or the like. Whatever the case, i'm not on board with all the modern feel-good philosophy, just because it's fun, empowering, etc. doesn't mean it's necessarily healthy in my book.
The second important you're seeing is Paul's development. It makes sense that even if this is meant to be a happy, very consensual NTS path, it takes some time to acquire the taste or at least getting used to. For me a happy NTS thing is not that interesting, and if one wants that the format of a character-driven narrative is off and it would be better served with a ready-to-pimp male MC without much of an arc, just a guy who more or less knows what he likes and goes about getting it.
I know dev and a subset of the fanbase are not that keen, at least nominally, on seeing Paul's character in pain etc., or to put it in genre-terms, on having NTR in their NTS. But I am grateful that dev and the fans of the NTS route who are still on board are so far allowing for the bad shit that must go along with an complex story. I do feel our tags should be treated more like genres rather tropes, so that it isn't bland and porn-y. I personally would prefer more conflict on all ends and yes even hurt to appreciate the NTS and loyal paths, though I do respect that there best be a hypoallerneic route for those with turn-offs or even triggers.
Seriously, Bob's body type deserves (and gets) stuff too. I know you don't mean it that way but.. I mean... and there's a whole path full of that
(actually accomodating that fetish causes the weakest part of the story: who are these guys? what kind of bourgoius-douche + gentleman-thug culture is this? in what universe can the earl of rochester be into american football? isn't their class confusing? why is the bro-frat-house, immature yet somehow successful enterprenuers all black? how does the same secret society cater to a handyman-type, garage-workshop owner and a CEO-bro? and also am I the only one getting the weird homoerotic vibes of bodybuilder culture?)--i hadn't realised how much this bothered me, thanks for the tickle, lol.
Still worth it, I guess, cause at the purely aesthetic level, dev really did achieve the best milk and chocolate colour contrast I've ever seen. But let's not let the sundae melt all over the place. Bob  Mila is a different dessert, strudel (I ain't calling it apple-pie) with a scoop of vanilla
Do you mean skill?
Unless...
Wait...
Is you?!
Is this what gets you off?! Our praise and shit?! It's real creepy, man, I mean jizz-face for something that someone wrote or ma_ oh!... I hear it now...
