As said, I think the ending is too tame to be really considered a bad ending.
I'd rather see MC seeing her ex with a new woman (maybe pregnant) entering a restaurant while standing at the street corner, realising that she threw away a future with a family for some BBC with no regard for her. Something to twist the knife, so to speak. Make it really bad an ending.

But that would be only my take.

For now the ending is "just" sad but with your additions it would be heartbreaking.
Even moreso if Paul and his new wife see and have a little conversation about her, like how far people can fall in life etc. which MC can overhear.

I was actually wondering if the dev will make a new game with a male pov harem.

I’m not sure what exactly I’ll be doing for the next game — it’s hard to say for now.
I’ve got way too many ideas and nowhere near enough free time

At one point, I had this concept for a harem story where different girls compete for the attention of a prince or a sheikh —
since being the favorite would give them more power and resources.
Naturally, they’d pretend to love everything we do and act like they’re madly in love,
but it would all be part of the game.
Favoritism would actually give them real advantages over each other, so there’d be plenty of tension and conflict.
Something along those lines.

I’ve just never really understood the “classic” harem setup, where the MC is basically an emotional log
and all the girls fall head over heels because he gave them a scarf in childhood or saved them from a cockroach once.
Like... no one falls in love over that, and I honestly don’t know how to build a meaningful story around it.

But I’m not sure if I’ll actually go through with that idea.
