This is a very frustrating game to play because its equal parts great and equal parts awful. With a few simple changes when this was starting out im 100% confident they could easily of doubled there subscribers and player base. First glaring issue is not being able to name an mc in a vn in 2025 is just insane. There's absolutely no good reason for it and the longer they let it go the more work it was gonna take to fix it. (oh and before someone chimes in with get the name change mod this is the only game ive needed a name mod for. Its just standard and expected and when players don't see it they quit instead of searching this thread)
The intro is just not very good and doesn't really sell the game very well and is a bit of slog to get through. The Witcher dream nonsense doesn't help and i can easily imagine so many players tapping out at that stage. Then there's the vn inside a vn... oh boy its like a worse dream sequence, at least in dream sequences its the mc and the characters from the game.. but no its just a bunch of randos and that's gonna make people tap out as well. Its kind of a slog to get through. At the very least make it skippable, I would also argue its an insane waste of renders and time that could of gone to a fairly starved for scenes main cast.
Having to replay a harem game to see different routes, an example the mom kind of having two different paths is really a confusing as hell descion and increased the shit out of your workload.
I know ive been fairly negatives it just the rest of the game is great and has some awesome moments and some great scenes. I think its heading in a better direction atm but i just cant help but feel if you polished it up a little and cleaned up the intro you could easily get more players into it, especially in a genre that is starting to become more and more lacking in good games.
