It's really not ok to take down a free fan game, i didn't even utilise inusen's recent art or anything. I've only edited and remade new scenes using old ones as people can notice. Taking down all the links and sending his fan army to harass me by sending threat messages is a bit too much don't you think?

Inusen, I don't like this guy. I don't know if you were here on the page when the game was abandoned. He was always on the page asking people to stop texting him. That he was no longer part of the team, which was developing another game (he said what his game was). This was repeated over and over again. And I always wondered, did they really send a message? Or was it just an excuse to advertise his game on top of another game? Taking advantage of the fact that the game had left many orphans, and thus getting support for his game?

I don't know the legal niceties. But if Inusen was paid off by Milftoon or had to pay to become the legal owner of certain MD assets, you are clearly trespassing upon his property. Just make up a NEW game for yourself using your chosen game assets. Except for recognizable characters and scenes, Desperate Milfs is certainly a different game to MD.
If you feel strongly enough about the injustice of this takedown, seek legal advisement. Maybe a compromise can be worked out.

We players can't possibly know the truth.
I believe, pending new revelations, MD was nuked by Milftoon. It has a long history of doing this for projects
without notice. It never turned off the Patreon chug-chug-chugging upon nuking this project, either.
Since Inusen accepting the role of fall-guy as to the MD demise is implausible, something else is going on. One strong possibility is Milftoon paying Inusen bonus money and being given all creative rights to MD to accept such a role. In return, Milftoon gets a reprieve from blame.
Inusen, as you know, did return to this thread often to plead his innocence AND to advertise his new project.
But at that point, he controlled MD (aside from Patreon subs, probably). If you wish to blame Inusen for anything, it would be his not informing our community that he now controlled MD.
I agree with you that Inusen's creative output has been far below his work on MD. He may be thinking of doing an MD continuation himself and has angrily reacted to fans/wannabe devs getting there first.
Certainly, it would clear the air somewhat if Inusen chooses to confide to all his/MD fans his present intentions regarding MD.
I love Inusen's art, so I followed this thread casually when it was actually being updated (and delayed, and excuses were made, etc., etc.), and my impression was that Inusen was just a talented artist who was frustrated with the people in charge of Milftoon (or at least the coders Milftoon contracted to build/update/maintain the game engine). Right near the end there was all that stuff about one of the coders needing to evacuate her house or something, and I'm not sure why you'd make that up.
AFAIK, Inusen was commissioned to do the art (i.e., paid a set amount in exchange for the artwork each update), so he didn't benefit from the less and less frequent updates and lack of communication we were seeing at the end -- but Milftoon would have, in terms of Patreon subscription dollars per time between updates (more time between updates = less paid to Inusen to make artwork for the next update, but still monthly Patreon $$ to Milftoon).

I think you and inusen6 got off on the wrong foot -- this could easily be turned into a win-win situation for both of you. If you worked together to create a similar game, with the great art we all love in both your guys' work, but without the shitty Milftoon game engine (and their arguably cavalier methods of conducting business), you guys could be really successful. Plus I saw in another comment that some other talented people may have reached out to you who also want to work on a project like this.
I do know some of the legal niceties (though not the specific facts at issue here), and I tend to agree with you. It sucks that the first contact was hostile like this, but I'm guessing that Inusen probably just saw this new game pop up, using all the old Milftoon Drama assets, and thought someone was trying to "steal" his art (in the moral sense, not the legal sense -- as in he's the one who actually created the work, regardless of whether or not it was commissioned) and perhaps he overreacted to protect what he considers "his" artwork.
I'm assuming that Milftoon likely still owns the rights to the underlying artworks under USA law (I'm not super familiar with other countries' laws, but USA copyright law pretty much runs the internet DMCA arena), and the file hosting companies (Mega et al.) just don't really care to look that closely when they receive a legitimate-looking DMCA request (which is also understandable -- if they can be on the hook for hosting something that IS copyright infringement, and they're providing this free service, why not err on the side of caution?).
solidsnake322 - I think you should reach out to Inusen, explain yourself, and see if he has any interest in working together on something that you could both legitimately own and profit from.
inusen6 - I think you should consider what I've proposed above; your art is amazing, and it's the only thing that made Milftoon Drama playable. If you and solidsnake322 could get a team together to make an actual game, without Milftoon's involvement, I think you could make something really successful. I would also be careful resorting to calling on your fans to harass another artist -- it seems to me that the best you will accomplish is stirring up a pot that may be best left settled.
I didn't read more into this whole issue than what I quoted, and a few posts by solidsnake322 in his game's thread, but if it's true that Milftoon still owns the copyright to the game assets/artworks (i.e., if Milftoon commissioned inusen6 to draw the art through a

), then I think neither of you technically have the right to use the work without Milftoon's permission (i.e., paying them a fee in exchange for a license to use their intellectual property).And even if it turns out that inusen6 is the actual copyright owner, and/or inusen6 is too busy right now to jump back into a copyright-safe-remake of MD, I still think you guys should work together. inusen6 if you are worried about losing the copyright on the artworks you created, but don't mind that other people are enjoying making new works based on it, couldn't you look into licensing it to solidsnake322 for a nominal fee (i.e., $0.01 per year, or 1 Dogecoin per year)?

Infact i did contact inusen last year when i had an idea about making the game and i did not get any response from him! i don't know his personal email or any other point of contact to have a word with him. i heard he is active in his discord group and i will try contact him there and sort this issue issue out and see how things go.

Since Milftoon is back! I will be contacting them and make some amends to sort the current situation out. If i get their support on a fan project there will be little less what INUSEN can do to take down the game since Milftoon owns the rights.

Lol, really? In order to support the development of one mini-game that has just begun, do I HAVE to support a project of another game that has been abandoned for over a year? It's funny. Well... The hamsters from his site will eat it, I'm definitely passing until at least 1 of these two projects reaches the 100% completed mark. What is unlikely - most likely they will also be abandoned after a quarter of production.

You misunderstood.
There is no way to directly support MG. The support must be indirect by way of supporting MD.
Since the MG dev has also said MD will not be continued, why aim to actually CONTINUE using the MD name?

I'm not a fan of Inusen's art, and as far as I know (I could be wrong of course), he wasn't the one who started drawing (in the first chapters of the game) and I already liked it at the time. Although I liked it, it was because of the incest, not because of the characters themselves.
