Interesting note from dev of Milftoon Grounded. To support MG, a player MUST support Milftoon Drama.
Lol, really? In order to support the development of one mini-game that has just begun, do I HAVE to support a project of another game that has been abandoned for over a year? It's funny. Well... The hamsters from his site will eat it, I'm definitely passing until at least 1 of these two projects reaches the 100% completed mark. What is unlikely - most likely they will also be abandoned after a quarter of production.

You misunderstood.
There is no way to directly support MG. The support must be indirect by way of supporting MD.
Since the MG dev has also said MD will not be continued, why aim to actually CONTINUE using the MD name?

I'm not a fan of Inusen's art, and as far as I know (I could be wrong of course), he wasn't the one who started drawing (in the first chapters of the game) and I already liked it at the time. Although I liked it, it was because of the incest, not because of the characters themselves.

Not necessarily.
What the dev said was very similar to a poltician's words : not at this time.That does not mean "never". The fact that the Patreon account will still be in the name of MD is puzzling/hopeful.
It is true that the mere fact that Milftoon fired up another VN project (a lesser one to MD by far) does not auger well for MD. Inusen now appears to care much more about the MD game assets than the MD game itself.
sadly they moved on with new project already.

I was waiting for new content in the game to play again, played a long time ago. But, it's finished? Or just abandoned in the middle of the story?
there happened to have a conflict inside devs team. so some of these guys left the team so the game got "Onhold" for them and don't know when it will be picking back up. Milftoon already create a new team working on next games so i think they planned to move on. so the game is unofficial abandone. kinda sad that i really like this art styles. also the artist now working on his own.
hey ı loved your game (both of your games are so good ı didnt know milftoon drama was abandoned tho ) your games are so good so pls dont abandon this one too tbh in milftoon drama ı lost where ı was and then ı got lazy to resume it ı hope this game wont took to the abandoned (btw ı will copy paste this one to the milftoon drama too cuz ım an lazy)
