Overall the game is good but a couple of things:
I would highlight the areas that you can go to or will transition you to another area in the game. You could argue that the text popping up is the highlighting the area but I think adding some barley noticeable boarder lines will help out a bit.
Choosing which locations to go to such as the kitchen or the garage in Sue’s house can be confusing since there is nothing other than the text that appears when scrolling the mouse around the area and I believe having the choice to go to the living room confusing because you’re already there in a way. Clicking on the kitchen to get to the living room feels wrong to me because I think the player should go to the kitchen if they click the kitchen itself as pictured.

The player should be able to go into the front yard from the backyard. Not only would that give the player another way to access the front yard and thus the basement, but it would also make traversing the inside of the living room easier since I think the player is going to question why getting to the front yard would require clicking down on the screen when that door that leads to the front leads to the back yard. If you guys can, I would give the player the choice to go into the backyard via the kitchen or the garage like it was for the kitchen in the show (if memory serves me correctly. It’s been a while since I watched the show.) I understand that would require drawing in new backgrounds for it to happen, but it would make navigation in the game easier in my opinion.

As pictured above, the programmer working on this game should program the area highlighted to be clickable for the player because there is little room for the player to click on to get to the stairs by extension the corridor.
Lastly,The hint for finding the hammer by going into the storage shed is confusing because someone could mistake the storage room inside Dennis house with the storage shed and get stuck in the game. I would change the text on that hint.
Other than what said, the game is looking pretty good.
