The hammer is in the storage room (Dennis yard at the back). You can get the hammer after Dalvin (slums/black hero) gets introduced.
I think you are confusing the hammer in that storage with the hammer in the Dennis house where you can't get any of the tools there since the dad will be upset.
MilfToon-Grounded in the scene where you fap to sleeping Alice, going to the menu bugged out the game so that Alice disappeared from the scene.

I'll get it fixed. You are not supposed to be able to activate the menu during scenes only before them.
