The writing and scenes are unique, and the art is above and beyond.

You play as multiple heroes depending on the location that you are. If you are at Dennis house then you are Dennis , if you are at Sue's house then you are Sue , etc

Why not let the player choose 1 character for the whole playthrough?

aren't it the aunt you mean you shall visit
you go to backyard = click on the wooden fence
you will need a ladder it's in dennis garage
you also need a crowbar it comes later via sue
but first use the ladder
