My main problem has been recreating the squint of the eyes. Not sure if I should use the close eyes morph or the squint morphs or a combination of both.

I think you are wrong, because that image have a little intese light as you can see and i think i have the same skin color, its from the original body

Looks nice, exept for the proportions. Especially her left arm looks very thin compared to how curvaceous she is. Could just be the angle though. Also her head looks a bit too big, but that might be the hair making it look big.
Other than that, skin looks nice. Alas, the curtains do not match the drapes
