I know you mean it good - and we appreciate it - thx for that ... BUT really, instantly down to 70% quality? Why not 80% or even 90% -> much better quality AND still a huge compression in size compared to the original *.png files.

So happy to see an update already! I liked v1.0 a lot (though it was brief). There was a definite sense of mystery and uniqueness. Can't wait to see where we're headed...

regarding to your statement, why not go down to 50% quality (you still can see whats going on in the pictures) - then you have even less size

And for people like you who want to enjoy the graphics in compressed versions, download the full version and enjoy the graphics.
I can compress to 0% quality especially for you (Wow,I Have 1080 P Monitor and don't watch any change in graphics for 50/70/80/90 % ).
You can always download compression from the author you like, it seemed to me that I did not force anyone to download what I posted.

So far you have zero choice, you just click through and everything is forced on to you. This is just a story to read, not a game to play.

NO... it does not make a game "animated" that it uses 41 pictures to create the illusion of an animation. It's still just still images.

Why the heck did you not generate .mp4 or .webm files of those 41 frames per "pseudo-anim" Maximus14?
Also, a loop of 41 frames is like 1½-2 seconds. I wouldn't call that "animated" either. Never render less than five seconds of animation because this just looks so much like a short loop that it doesn't matter.

Shame, because the premise is actually intriguing and good.

Another thing. MAKE SURE TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THIS IS A KINETIC VISUAL NOVEL. THERE ARE NO CHOICES, THERE IS NO GAME.

In my opinion, it doesn't even belong in this thread. Kinetic novels are not games.

I mean, relatively few video games are actually "games" in the classical sense applicable to chess, poker, and sports - you're usually "playing against" the game itself, not other people (unless of course you're the sort of masochist who enjoys online multiplayer games, where you get the endless fun of being called racial slurs that may or may not even apply to you by 12 year olds when you beat them... or they beat you... or the team you're on with them loses... or etc etc etc). Kinetic novels (and so-called "walking simulators", to name another genre from outside the porn game realm that also gets this dumb "not a real game" accusation thrown at it) are a form of interactive entertainment software (even if just barely interactive - clicking to turn the page is technically an interaction), which is what "video game" really means at this point.

The next update is coming out next friday 13th January (Public release). It won't be a big update but at least I fixed all the major issues the release had (old MC face, too much useless narrations, big Megan shoes and more).

I'm reinvesting all the money from the patreon page to a online rendering service until I can afford good PC hardware, so with time the updates should become bigger and bigger.

Thank you all for the feedback. Now as I am looking at the old MC face, it's just hilarious.

Considering the dev basically copies a already existing story and converts it into a VN, I doubt that the choices will effect anything. At best it will chnage the next few dialogue lines, but if the dev continues the convertation, it will be a KN with the illusion of choices. The (e-)book was already mentioned a few times in the thread.

The game right now is a combination of two books and not just Milf mansion inheritance from Nick Storming. And yes, the choices will affect the plot, it is just the early stage in the game development.
